"Come on, Toya dear." Rei's soft voice spoke to the infant on the floor. "Come to Mama!"

The redhead looked up at his mother with curious eyes. At the current moment in time, his father, known as the pro hero Endeavor, was at work. So that left Toya home alone with his mother.

Just for the fun of it, Rei had been trying to get her son to crawl around the living room for the past two months. He would rock around on his hands and knees or go from sitting position and fall forward, catching himself with his hands. But he never actually moved.

A disappointed huff came from the snowy haired woman. She slumped against the floor as Toya giggled and clapped his hands at his mother. No matter how much she tried, Rei couldn't help but hide her smile.

"You're so precious, my diamond." The woman said softly as she made her way to Toya, scooping him into his lap.

Toya leaned his head back to look at his mother. A wide smile spread across his face as he giggled once again and grasped at her hands. Of course, he didn't quite understand why his mother was so happy, he just knew she was smiling and talking to him. Which he loved.

Rei sighed as she lifted her child up, holding him close as she stood up herself.

"Well, shall we prepare some dinner for Daddy so we can eat when he gets home?" Rei asked as she walked into the kitchen.

As a response, the boy let out a gumble of nonsense whines. The white haired woman smiled softly at her son and carefully rubbed Toya's head as she made her way into the kitchen.

"I'm home." A gruff voice echoed throughout the how.

Rei glanced around the corner and smiled fondly at her husband as he shut the door behind him.

"Welcome home, Dear." The woman spoke softly as she walked over and wrapped her arms around her husband's neck.

The pro hero looked at the pearly haired woman and gave her a smile, planting a soft kiss on her forehead. "Hello, Rei. Where's Toya?"

"He's in the living room playing." His wife said as she motioned to the room to the right of them.

The redheaded gave his wife a soft nod. He planted one more kiss on her head before making his way into the next room. A small smile tugged at his lips when he saw his son sitting on the floor with a few blocks sprawled out in front of him and a stuffed dog beside him.

"Toya!" Enji called, getting his son's attention.

Toya looked over at his father and his face lit up. He giggled and started shouting nonsense, reaching out to his father excitedly. Enji gave a soft chuckle as he walked over and scooped up his son.

"I missed you too, Buddy." The pro hero laughed as Toya pat his head and grasped at his hair.

The boy nuzzled into his father's neck. He stayed close to the man, soaking up the heat the pro hero radiated. It eased the child, which made Enji happy.

"He didn't cause any trouble today, did he?" The redheaded hero asked his wife.

Rei shook her head softly. "Nope. He's behaved pretty well."

"That's good." Enji nodded. He shifted his gaze to the boy against his shoulder and carefully placed him onto the ground.

The child whined softly and looked up as his father as he went into the kitchen with his wife. Toya whined and reached for him once his back was turned, but Enji didn't seem fazed.

Giving a pout, Toya threw his hands on the ground. His eyes shifted around the room, trying to use his young-aged mind to logically plan out how to get his parents attention. However, when the small redhead turned his attention to the border of the kitchen, dining room, and kitchen, his parents were no longer there.

Toya gave a whine. Surely his parents weren't gone. They had just been there! The child fell onto his hands and knees. He looked around the living room, whining when he didn't see his mother nor father. Instinctively, Toya reached a hand out and had began to crawl to where he had seen his parents last.

"Ahh! Ahh!" He whined, coming closer to where they had been. Tears pricked his diamond blue eyes when no one was in the dining room.

"Ahhh!" Toya cried as he crawl around the table. He whimpered as nudged his way underneath the table. There, he had began to cry.

Alerted to the sounds of their son crying, Touya's parents rushed down the stairs. They both had gone up to their room for just a moment to continue their conversation while Enji had changed out of his hero uniform. Enji's heart skipped a beat when he and his wife arrived to an empty living room.

"Toya?!" The pro hero called out.

The two could hear him crying. Rei put a hand in her husband's shoulder before following the sobs of her son. Enji followed her.

Suddenly, the woman stopped in the border of the dining room and living room. She gave a soft huff and sad smile as she knelt done on the ground after moving to the table.

"Toya-Love." She called in her usual soft, carrying voice. "Mommy's here. Mommy and Daddy are right here."

The sobs stopped for a moment before beginning again. Enji stepped forward and knelt down, listening to the jumble of supposed words that came in between the sobs. The redhead smiled sadly.

"It's okay, Toya." Enji said softly. "Come here, Buddy."

A few minutes after the words left Enji mouth, the smaller copy of the pro hero came crawling out of his hiding spot. He shot straight for his father, reaching for him. Enji smiled and carefully picked Toya up, holding him close against him.

"It's okay." He whispered, planting a soft kiss on Toya's head.

Rei looked at her son and gently place a hand on his head. She then looked at her husband with a proud glimmer in her eye. "He crawled!"

Enji looked at her. He hummed and smiled as he looked at Toya.

"Look at you." He chuckled as he stroked the boy's head. "You're such a strong little boy, aren't you To?"

Toya whined and nuzzled into his father's shoulder. Both of his parents gave each other a knowing glance of sympathy and worry.

Their son had separation anxiety.
