At the Stark tower,

Selvig works around the CMS devices that has already been set upon the rooftop of the tower.

Inside the penthouse, Diya lays on the couch still unconscious. Wounds on her head and stomach all taken care of for now. All the blood now dried, her clothes and hands all stained dark red. Loki looks at her with interest, wanting to know more about what he saw in her mind that time.

Iron man arrives at the Stark tower where Selvig, activates the CMS device, holding the tesseract.

"sir, I took off the arc reactor. The device is already self sustaining." Jarvis informs Tony.

"shut it down, Dr. Selvig."

"it's too late. It can't stop now. He wants to show us something. A new universe."

"okay."

Iron man aims his hands towards the CMS and fires. The energy from his boosters shatters with a deafening crack. Selvig falls backwards. Down below, citizens of new York look up at Stark tower. Iron man looks in disbelief at CMS unharmed.

"the barrier is pure energy. Its unbreachable. The mark VII is not ready to be deployed.

"skip the spinning rims. We're on the clock."

Tony lands his suit and goes through the gauntlet and unsuits him. Loki notices him. he smiles at him as he walks into the penthouse.

As soon as Tony enters, his eyes start searching for a particular person, hoping she's not in a bad condition. And it doesn't take long for him to find her resting on the couch. He feels relief to find her but at the same time worried more because of her vulnerable state, not moving at all.

"Jarvis?"

"critical case of blood loss. Needs medical attention as soon as possible."

Loki follows his gaze and understands what was he thinking.

"she's alive, for now." He says smiling mischievously.

Tony looks at him with anger in his eyes but doesn't let it show and keep walking,

"please tell me you're going to appeal to my humanity."

"uhh.....actually, I'm planning to threaten you."

"you should have left your armor on for that."

"yeah, it's seen as a bit of mileage. You've got the blue stick of destiny." Instead of walking towards the bar he walks straight past Loki towards Diya.

"do you know why did I take her?" Loki asks him.

"I know very well." Tony answers, still walking, not taking his eyes off of her.

"Then you must understand this urge. The feeling to use her mind for your sake. I was about to take a closer look until you interrupted."

"bold of you to assume we'll let you do that voodoo stuff."

"then what were you planning to do? I assume you didn't keep around for party tricks."

"at least it wasn't against her will." He bends down to her level patting her head gently.

"was it not?"

"she chose to help." He turns around and stand back up, to see Loki in eyes.

"and where did that bring her?" Loki smiles and used his scepter to enchant Tony but it doesn't work. Tony sneakily puts a colantotte bracelet and Loki tries again and tap his scepter on his chest.

"it should work." He say confused.

"well, performance issues." Tony says shrugging.

Loki gets angry and grabs Tony his throat and flings him across the room.
