Chapter 3: Alkia Kingdom (First Phase)

It's already time. I breathed in and out. Humiga na ako matapos mailagay nang maayos ang VR gears sa ulo ko. May staff na nag-a-assist sa 'kin kung paano ang tamang paggamit ng gears at kung paano ako makakapasok sa virtual word. Kapag ready na ako, I just have to switch the green button on.

I was nervous and excited at the same time. My heart wouldn't stop beating fast. Nararamdaman ko rin ang mga butil ng pawis sa noo ko. Malamig naman sa loob ng kwarto ko pero hindi ko alam kung bakit pinagpapawisan ako. Maybe because this was my first time. I was really excited to enter inside Alkia Kingdom.

"Ready?" tanong ng staff. May inaayos siya sa computer. She was setting up everything and I could see it through the large monitor.  She said that I can log out anytime I want. May makikita akong log out button sa dashboard

"Yes," I said. I closed my eyes and clicked the green button on the left side of my VR gear. Nagulat ako dahil sa mga images na nag-flash sa utak ko. Someone's talking in my mind. It was the system's programmed voice. A girl's voice.

"Virtual Reality gear activated. Player's mentality will be transmitted inside the game. Starting," she said. I could feel my mind going dizzy. It went in circles. I could see the loading percentages in my mind. Before it reached one-hundred percent, I fell asleep or lost my consciousness. And then I woke up inside a virtual world. But All I could see were blue lines surrounding the virtual room where I'm in. I realized that my consciousness are now inside the game's system. I was standing inside the room like a hologram image.

"Successfully transmitted. Loading Game Classses... Please select and customize your own character," she said. Lumabas ang gender ng character sa harapan ko. I clicked the male one. It was fascinating that I can click the buttons in front of me without problems. Pinapili ako ng class. I chose the Archer type. According to the game, I have to use a bow and arrow first before I could acquire or upgrade it into a crossbow.

I started to personalize my character. It was a handsome golden-haired guy. Katamtaman lang ang haba ng buhok nito. And his eyes were green. The lips were thin and tight. He has a very masculine body. He was wearing a light archer custome made of fur and leather. It was sleeveless, enough to notice his masculine biceps and triceps. He's also have shrouded boots and gloves. Nakasakbit sa likod niya ang bow and arrows.

Hindi pa ako pwedeng mag-customize ng damit niya dahil kailangang bilhin sa game ang mga ito. For now it's the basic costume for all starting players.

I entered my username Zeus and clicked the finished button. For now, hindi na kailangan ng password dahil naka-save na sa VR gears na suot namin ang characters and progress namin.

"Character creation successful. Merging player inside the character's body, loading..." she said. Nagulat ako nang unti-unting maglaho ang katawan ko at sumanib ito sa character na ginawa ko. The next thing I knew is that I'm already inside my character's body. It was a weird feeling. I moved my hands, close and open. My mouth almost gape in surprise. I can really move my character's body according to my will. But the feeling of being inside a male's body is weird. I could feel my cheeks burning hot. And my heart was racing fast. Nakakailang. Kakaiba sa pakiramdam. Sobrang bigat ng katawan ko at hindi ako sanay.
