Tiningnan ko nang mabuti si Fire. Hindi siya nag-aalala. He just gave his best smile to Ara. That's the smile that every girl will fall for. Lihim akong sumimangot. Bakit kailangan pa niyang hayaan na lalong maakit sa kanya si Ara? It will be easier if he just pushed her away. Baka sakaling tigilan na siya nito.
"What if we refused to leave him here?" seryosong tanong ko kay Ara.
Fire grinned. "She didn't want to leave me because she'll miss me. I told you, she might cry and I don't want that to happen," natatawang sabi ni Fire.
"Then choose the right road on your own," nakasimangot na sagot sa 'kin ni Ara.
"Is there no other way?" tanong naman ni Angel.
"There's no other way. I want him," determinadong sabi ni Ara habang nakapaskil ang nakakalokong ngiti sa labi. Sumimangot ako. What a spoiled brat NPC fairy with black wings. Bagay na bagay ang itim na pakpak niya sa personality niya. She's so evil. Patuloy ang paghaplos ni Ara sa mukha ni Fire.
"Well, if you really want me, why not just accompany us?" matalinong tanong ni Fire. Ara laughed merrily. Tila naaliw siya sa sinabi ni Fire. She looked at him with admiration but she grinned mischievously afterwards.
"Nice try but I'm not that dumb. You want me to accompany you so you can finish all the quests easily," she said and laughed. Nag-iisip din pala ang NPC na ito. "And I can't leave the East Gate because I'm a guardian. And because I'm a guardian, I won't let you off easily. I'll make sure that when you leave here, your team has already lose its support," makahulugang sabi niya. "You're done with the East Gate Keeper but you're not done with the East Gate Guardian yet," she added. Kumunot ang noo ko. Hindi nabanggit ito sa 'kin ni Death. Pero hindi nga pala sila nakalampas sa East Gate Keeper. Pero kung may mga guardians ang mga gates, dapat nakasalamuha rin nila ang North Gate Guardian.
"Another party had went here but they never mentioned anything about the North Gate Guardian," nagtatakang sabi ko kay Ara. Kumunot ang noo ko dahil tila may ginagawa si Fire sa dashboard niya pero hindi ko na lang muna pinansin dahil mabilis lang naman ito.
"Maybe that party already lost some members. The North Gate Guardian is a lazy one. She's the type who can't be thrilled easily. I guess, she purposely let them pass without meeting her but she surely gave them questions to answer," Ara said and grinned. I see. That's the way they were programmed.
"She can disguise?" curious na tanong ko.
"I can't give you anymore details. Remember that you're after the Lost City. This is a mysterious place. If I give you more details, the secrets of it will all be revealed," nakangising sagot ni Ara.
"We don't want to leave Fire here. Sorry, Ara," determinadong sabi ko sa kanya. Tiningnan ko ang anim na daan. Pare-pareho ang kulay ng mga karatula. Kulay Pula. Lahat sila ay nakaturo sa iba't ibang direksiyon pero Lost City pa rin ang nakasulat doon. At nang tingnan ko ang mapa na hawak ko, mas lalo lang akong naguluhan. I find it useless. Damn! What will I do? I don't want to rely on pure luck. Wala akong balak magpabalik-balik sa East Gate. Sayang ang oras at ang mga lakas namin.
