Chapter 24 (Cuddle Buddy)

Baekhyun's POV

All three of us finished eating dinner and I was now cleaning the kitchen, while Chanyeol was cleaning Haneul. I still didn't know how to feel about all this, but it made me feel all tingly and happy inside. It was getting quite late and I wanted to bring Haneul to bed, but Chanyeol insisted that he wanted to do it so I could relax for a bit.

"Come on, baby. I will give you a bath now." It really warmed my heart the way he spoke to our son and I reminded myself that I was doing it for Haneul and not for myself.

"PwaPwa bath too!" I heard him yell for me.

"PaPa has to clean the kitchen, bubba. I will join you once I'm done, okay?" Even though I wanted to join them more than anything, i couldn't be so close to Chanyeol now.

"PwaPwa tom wif as." He brokenly said, which was supposed to be 'Come with us' and I couldn't help but laugh. He was so precious.

I didn't want to say no to him, because it broke my heart. But I had to.

"Do you want me to clean the kitchen? You can take Haneul if you want."

And now I felt bad.

"No, it's okay. We can both go and give him a bath."

He just nodded and took Haneul, while I prepared his clothes and bath.

So this is what parenthood felt like....

"Haneul, stop splashing around, please. The floor is all wet now." I scolded him, to which he just giggled. Chanyeol was playing along with our baby, he was even worse than Haneul.

"DaDa! Ducky!"

"Where is it, bubba? Did you hide it again?"

"Here!"

I watched both of them play around, making my heart melt. My heart felt so content for once and I couldn't help but watch them become even closer.

I was completely invisible to Haneul, but that was okay. I was happy that he was happy.

"Should we splash some water on Papa?"

"YAY!"

"No, please don't. It's already messy in here!" I shouted, but it was too late. I was already so wet with water.

"BOYS, NO!" I was tackled down by Chanyeol, as Haneul splashed water on me, giggling histerically.

"PwaPwa, DaDa! Cowld!"

More than 10 minutes passed by and our water fight slowly ended with Haneul feeling cold. It had been a few months since I last laughed like that.

Chanyeol took Haneul and got him ready for bed, while I finished cleaning. I was so exhausted and couldn't wait until I was in my bed.

Once I was done, I also took a quick shower and then joined Chanyeol in the living room. It probably wasn't a good idea to wear a bathrobe only.

"Oh..." I heard him whisper, causing me to blush.

"Is Haneul asleep?" He just nodded, before looking me up and down once again.

"Chanyeol?"

"Hmm?"

"My eyes are up here."

"Oh, sorry. You look gorgeous."

"Thank you..." I blushed a deep shade of red.
