The Tale of the Mad Scientist: Part 4

Amelia enters the school and notices that the students and staff were happier than usual. Dancing around, jumping, singing, screaming, fucking each other, and running around. Amelia looks at everyone in horror,

"Hello, Amelia! Whooooo!" one of the students says as they run around the hallways screaming and singing. Amelia runs to the classroom and sees Namjoon looking out of the window, swishing his glass of whiskey, humming one of his favorite songs. Amelia walks up to him and touches his shoulders,

"Kim Namjoon, what the fuck is going on? You got people running around, fucking each other in the hallway, screaming, and shit—"

"Holy shit, that's funny. I can hear some of them moaning and shit," Namjoon says while laughing.

"This shit isn't funny, Namjoon. What kind of medicine is this?" Amelia yells. She becomes frustrated with Namjoon's behavior. Namjoon walks up to Amelia and kisses her forehead and smiles at her,

"Dear, it's the medicine that'll change your life. It's antidepressants, but make it cure," Amelia looks at him suspiciously, "See, Amelia. I've been wanting to create something that'll make an impact on this world. Something that'll not only help this world but will help me get all the glory I deserved," Namjoon says as he walks back to the window,

"And I finally got what I want," he finishes as he drinks his whiskey,

"So, this is what it is now? Fame?! That's all you fucking wanted—"

"Hey! I've done this for me and you. We finally can have the life we deserve Amy; I did this for us," he says.

Amelia shakes her head, "No, you did this for you. I didn't ask for this shit. I loved you for who you are, but this...this isn't you," she says, "I'm sorry Namjoon, but I can't do this." Amelia says as she leaves the room, she looks down the hallway and stares in horror. A pile of dead bodies scattered around the floor. Amelia walks back slowly and tries to run, but bumps into Namjoon,

"Joon, what the fuck—"

"Now, Amelia. You really think I was going to let you get away with this. After all, I've done for you," Joon walks slowly towards her while Amelia walks backward,

"What happened to everyone Namjoon? Answer me..."

Namjoon sighs, "I guess they couldn't handle the medicine as well as I thought..." he says, "just like how Professor Halloway couldn't handle it himself," Amelia stares at him in horror,

"I knew it. I knew you did some shit to him. What did you do!"

"Amelia!" he mockingly screams and laughs walking towards her, "He was one subject that handle it very well, but the problem was, after that high he had. He really thought he had the nerve to try and steal my fucking idea just for his own gain!" he screams,

"No, I was not going to let him get away with that. So, I tracked him down and came to his house and I decided to give him a little overdose to keep him quiet," he says.

"But unfortunately, that didn't work out so well for him, didn't it?" He laughs sinisterly,

"You're a sick bastard, you know that right?"

"Baby girl, I don't care how sick of a man I am. I would do anything to keep my shit intact, no matter the price. Now come here baby girl," Namjoon walks towards Amelia and takes out a shot filled with his medicine,

"Come to daddy, so we can be together forever," he says. Amelia quickly runs away from him and runs to the restrooms, Namjoon sighs in annoyance and runs after her.
