The Tale of the Fate Reader: Ending (Part 1)

Midnight

Marina and Lana prepare for their exit. Cassidy enters the living room, smiling at the girls,

"Well ladies, it's been taken care of," she says, holding the keys. Lana became confused.

"What did you even do to get those?" Lana asks.

"Well, I had to perform something on him to get them. A little explicit but—"

"Okay, that's enough. Let's go," Marina says, walking away along with Lana and Cassidy. As the girls continue to walk down the hall, the energy starts to feel a little different. Marina looks around the place, wondering what was going on,

"So, what are we looking for?" Marina asks.

"That damn golden book," Lana says, Marina starts looking at Lana. She starts to remember the golden book that Tae had when they finished their date. She starts to become curious,

"Why are we looking for his book?" Marina asks,

"Because we don't want him to do anything drastic to us bestie. That book holds the darkest power he ever has," Cassidy says. Marina starts to get more curious,

"What power are you talking about?" Marina asks Cassidy,

"The power of Amadeus. He never told you that, Marina?" Cassidy asks. Marina shakes her head, saying no. Lana and Cassidy look at each other,

"Well, you're in for a big ride," Lana says. The girls go to look for his office. Until suddenly they hear a big thump from behind, and a chill hit the air. Marina gets the sickening feeling that something was wrong,

"Guys, something is wrong," Marina says. The girls look back, nothing was found but Lana starts to get the sudden feeling they were being watched.

"Yeah, let's go. Now," Lana says as they all run to find Tae's office. They finally reach the office. Cassidy gets the keys and opens the door. The girls enter the room, trying to catch their breath.

"Okay, let's find that book," Lana says. The girls look around the office and Marina gets the sudden feeling that she was being watched. Marina looks back and sees that there's no one there,

"Guys, is there someone here?" Marina asks. Lana and Cassidy look at each other, shaking their heads, saying no,

"No why?" Cassidy asks.

"It just feels like someone is here—"

"I found it! I found the book!" Cassidy says. She takes the book out and looks through it. Lana stares at Cassidy suspiciously,

"Cass, be careful. We don't want to make no stupid moves," Lana says. Cassidy laughs,

"Silly, don't worry. I got this. I promise. Besides, it's not like you're going to use it," Cassidy says. Lana and Marina become confused,

"What are you talking about? We're all going to use this book," Lana says.

"Oh, silly. That's bullshit," Cassidy says putting her hand up and gripping it, Lana looks at her in horror, and suddenly Lana's neck bursts. Blood splatters on Marina, Marina screams in horror, getting on the ground,

"Oh, I'm sorry Marina. Never trust anyone you see here," Cassidy says. She takes the knife and puts it to her throat,

"Bye bestie," Cassidy says, slitting her throat. She falls to the ground lifeless. Marina stares at the scene in horror. She's never seen anything like this before. Marina goes to grab the golden book until suddenly, she hears a clap coming from the dark side of the room. Taehyung comes out, clapping slowly at her. Marina tightly holds the book in her hand,
