Following the disaster with Sam, she was found to be at Johnny Lawrence's apartment with Robby, she was so drunk at the party. As usual, this evolved into a heated argument between Amanda and Daniel, involving topics such as letting their daughters grow and experience things.

Daniel left for his mother's that evening, taking Anthony with him. Lainey was grateful for a house that was free of her dad, even for a short time, but she hated seeing her mother so stressed. It had been a day since their dad left.

Lainey wandered into her sister's room, Sam was lying in her bed with her hands over her eyes.

"I got you a glass of water and some Advil," Lainey announced, placing them onto the dresser for her sister.

Lainey sat on her sister's bed, the mattress dipped slightly which caused her sister to sit up.

"Lainey," Sam croaked. "What do you want?"

"I came to check on you."

Sam nodded, gladly gulping down her drink and taking what her sister handed her without hesitation.

"You're such a lightweight," Lainey laughed.

"Opposed to you, you mean?" Sam scoffed.

"Well, dad found you yesterday, and you still have a headache."

"I think the headache is dad's fault."

"He is one permanent headache if you ask me..."

Sam laughed lightly. "Anthony told me what happened."

"What do you mean?"

"Before him and dad left yesterday, he told me he heard dad yelling because he caught you and Eli in bed... Yeah."

"We were sleeping!"

"Yeah, but what were you doing before that?"

Lainey's face reddened. "That's not important. Anyway, how was the party?"

Sam sighed, placing the empty glass down onto her dresser.

"I heard about the drinking contest." Lainey crossed her arms.

"How did you-" Sam nodded. "Eli?"

"Yeah, he told me."

"Did he tell you that it was Tory's idea?"

"Why does that not surprise me?"

Sam grinned. "I won though."

"As you should." Lainey smirked.

Sam closed her eyes, Lainey noticed her change.

"Sam, what's up?"

"I kissed Miguel..."

Lainey's eyes widened. "Sorry, what?"

"Yeah."

"But, how?"

"I was drunk and... it just happened."

Lainey clenched her jaw. "You mean he took advantage of you?"

Sam shook her head. "God no."

"Well what?"

"Calm down Lainey."

"No, I won't calm down. Did he take advantage or not?"

"Absolutely not. It just happened. I feel so bad about it because of Robby. I can't believe I did that to him."

Lainey nodded. "Have you told Robby?"

Sam shook her head. "I don't have the heart to."

"You need to, for your sake as well as Robby's. Relationships are built on trust, remember?"
