Chapter - 6

                            Disha
" I don't think I can do it," I whispered scared to say out loud to him.
" What do you mean ' I don't think I can do it '... we have stayed together for 4 months. It's time to take a step ahead rather than three steps back DISHA!!!!"
He screams my name at the end causing me to flinch and shut my eyes tight.
The next that happens makes me scream my heart out.
I gasped quickly when my eyes opened. I am sweating heavily and my heart beating fast that I can hear my heartbeats.
" Don't worry. That was a dream and I made you wake up. I got scared for you, that was a nightmare." Halona's voice calms me down and I am grateful for her for waking me up.
" Thank you, I am glad you woke me up. I don't know what will happen to me if I dream the whole incident." Spoke back to her. It's funny how I am talking to Halona mentality rather than using my mouth to speak.
I went to the kitchen to drink some water and saw the time on my phone its 7 am. Everyone will wake up in two hours as it's hard for habits to die. It could be better to stay awake than sleep again to have that nightmare continue.
Therefore I did mediation, sitting in padmasana pose for fifteen minutes and did yoga-like tree pose, balasana and plank for 10 minutes each, totalling up to 45 minutes of yoga. Then I went to take a shower.
I wore a light peach linen top along with its peach linen palazzo. The top is fitted with loose long sleeves that show my petite bosom and waist curves. I normally won't dress up much early in the morning unless I have to go somewhere but I badly need to feel good today due to the nightmare.
It's 8.15 am I look up from my phone. I thought to utilize the time by making breakfast for everyone so I went to the kitchen. Worn an apron that was hanging at the side of the cabins. The apron is a bright red colour with daisy flowers printed on it, I like the apron and made a mental note of telling Nina to make a similar apron for me.
Nina started her cloth line in her 3rd year of university when she finished her crash course in fashion designing. She made a female lingerie line specialist for plus-sized women and flat-chest women which normally are overlooked. She faced many problems and failures that took 2 years for Nina to make a profit. Ever since then her business going well and in her free time she stitches clothes for us or 'special customers' as Nina puts it.
" Are you going think forever or going to make some breakfast for others?" Halona interrupt my thoughts and I started to take ingredients out. I am planning to make a cold salad for everyone as it's easier to make.
I took a large bowl and in a large bowl, combined some of the romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, red onion, cucumber, olives and feta cheese. Then took another small bowl and in the small bowl, I made the lemon Greek salad dressing by whisking together the olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, salt and pepper. Lastly, pour the dressing over the salad and mix it well and add some salt for taste. This salad may not fill the morning hunger we have so I made a mixed fruit smoothie for everyone. The moment I finish my proportion of salad and smoothie. Roshini comes out of the room wearing her pyjamas but she has already freshened up.
" Come and have some breakfast I made" I shout while cleaning my plate.
" Oh thanks, man. What did you make? " Roshini asked.
" I made a mixed fruit smoothie and Greek salad. How is it? " I asked exciting hoping she liked it.
" It's fucking amazing and Kiran loves it. I don't think I can leave for others" Roshini answers her mouthful and gives a sly smirk.
" You better not. I can't make more for lazy asses. " I said while laughing with Roshini joined.
The doors open in union and others enter looking like they came right after waking up.
" What the commotion dude, You girls were damn loud" Haniya is grumpy as hell when she is forced to wake up.
" Why are you dressed up Disha. What's the special occasion? " Yasmin asked while yawning.
" No special occasion and I made breakfast for you all, so freshen up and eat," I announced happily.
Yasmin and Nina took a spoon and fork respectively and were about to eat from the bowl itself. But Asha and I slap their hands off and forced them to go to the washroom when they insisted on eating from the bowl. Having younger siblings sucks, their behaviour is worst than a baby at times, and they bloody need to be instructed always.
After everyone ate their breakfast they went to change their pyjamas and to have a shower.
Yasmin is wearing a white fitted t-shirt over an oversize beige button shirt along with black jeans. Asha is wearing a casual black dress up to her mid-tight, along with black see-through tights, she wears golden jewellery to top up the look. Haniya is wearing an oversized dark blue t-shirt printed 'Live your life to fullest' along with faded blue coloured jeans. Roshini is wearing a white crop top with white tight pants covering the look with a black leather coat. Lastly, Nina is wearing a one-sided lavender sleeve top that shows the tattoo on her right shoulder. Her tattoo is inspired by her parents and she designed it herself. Only Nina and Yasmin make unique designs and their styles contract from each other in every aspect. Because of their talent, all of us have tattoos except for Asha.
Haniya has one tattoo on the back of the neck, Roshini has two tattoos each on her right wrist that quote ' Be fearless and fly' with a bird flying. I have one tattoo on my left ankle which is a rose that covers the scare I received while riding a bike. Yasmin has tattoos on the side of her fingers with a motivating quote. I don't know how many Nina have, she is a tattoo freak but the dress she wore once I got to know she has one on her tight making it look charming.
" Mummy calling " My phone rang making everyone stiff and panic visible in their eyes. I slowly picked up my phone and answered, trying to sound as normal as possible.
" Namaste Mummy" I spoke first
" Disha mein kya sun rahi ho. wolves ne tumerah upar attack kiye. Iss liye mein ne mana kiye tha jaana se but ajj kal ka bacha kaha kay sunthe hai. Tum log keise ho? "
Translation- " Disha what I am hearing. You girls were attacked by wolves that's why I refuse you to go but nowadays children won't even listen. How are you all? " Mummy said in one breath as she can beat Eminem himself. Her voice is filled with distress and I hardly think she even slept at all.
" Hum sab teekt hai mummy, sub ko bus minor injuries howi thi Jo kuch dino mein sai hojay gi"
Translation- " All of us are fine, just had minor injuries which will fade away in few days"
Mummy took a relief sigh and start to ask questions back and front. This leads me to lie and when I am lost, my sisters step up to lie. Oh My God! I never lied in my whole life than I did in 1 hour.
Later we were able to listen to Roshini getting scolded by her whole family it seems it was a group call since I can hear Rohan's voice. This makes me turn toward Asha, seeing how she is coping but she is preoccupied with her furious plus and worried parents. It was revealed dadi is kept in the dark about the incident due to her age as she may not handle it well but the truth is dadi Ji is a gossiper, she will make breaking news about it.
After we all ended the call, we were all took a relief sigh as if we finish most labouring tasks. And in a few moments, Andrew rang the bell and entered the hall telling us to get ready for meeting the council which was expected that's why we all dress up early.
The drive was for 19 minutes and the vehicle stop at the office building. We directly showed the direction by Andrew and stopped at the second floor, the nearest door from the elevator. Andrew hasn't required the need to knock as we were called to enter as if they knew we are here.
Sabrina is a white linen button top with cigarettes black pants and a sharp cut coat giving women empowerment vibes. Jacob is wearing a three pieces suit in dark blue with a black shirt. Chan-lee is wearing a tight white shirt, sleeves rolled up to the elbow with black trousers and Harry is wearing two pieces of the black suit.
" Please take a seat and Andrew you can leave" Jacob spoke first and Andrew bowed to them then left.
Weird, who bow nowadays we are living in the 21st century.
" Firstly, we want to apologise for leaving abruptly yesterday and we thought to come back for your shifting at midnight. But it happened during the sunset which we forgot sun-shinner timing to shift the first time is different than the moon-lighter. " Sabrina mumbled showing a sight sign of disappointment. But why?
" Can we start right up the business, the sooner we start the sooner we would meet Haniya's mate" Nina muttered suppressing her excitement.
The council chuckled and Jacob said " Well, for that we need to be introduced properly as you girls already know we are the council. We oversee supernatural activities and try to stay undercover from human sight. When we got to know about you girls, we were stunned then we realised prophecy is true after all. "
He looked at our expression for a moment and continue " The prophecy says
'Arise a fight caused by love,
Execution of one kind.
They shall arise again,
Concluding what they started.
A fortune to have them,
A star to have them,
Destiny fated with them,
Seek future with them,
Aspiration around them,
Light up the darkness around them.'
Do you girls have an idea what this might mean"
" I think I do," Nina and Roshini said in union. Both of them looked at each other and Roshini choose to speak.
" I believe the prophecy is about our wolves like Halona means Fortune, Astra means star, Kiran mean light. But Nina's, Yasmin's and Haniya's wolves meaning isn't destiny or future or aspiration" Roshini concluded her short speech.
"It is because it isn't about your wolves but yourself. Tell us about your wolves" Chanlee muttered.
" Nina's wolf name is Eve, Haniyas is Zarita and Yasmin is Ariyana and you already know the rest of our wolves' names. My wolf told me she is an old soul meaning she already has previously been a wolf to various hosts." Asha spoke in confidence and seeing even my wolf told the same thing that also interested the council.
"My one also said the same thing," Haniya confessed and all of us nodded agreeing on the unasked question that either our wolf said the same thing.
" Having an old soul wolf is incredible and happens in one in the millions. This can help you, girls, in exercising your powers. But this also has some downfalls like powers can be triggered by emotions and you girls can easily trigger the powers that can be destructive." Sabrina spoke
I right away question " How can we keep control of our powers?"
" What powers are you talking about, " Asha and I said at the same time.
" You girls are not ordinary werewolves but royalties and that grand some special powers like controlling the weather, etc. And you girls will be strictly trained by us along with some high ranked authorities. This is will beneficial for all of us " Harry said and I don't know why but I felt there are more than he said.
" Maybe he is waiting for the right time and Disha I trust him as I already spoke to his wolf. Wolves are sincere and always tells the truth. His wolf told me he has the best intentions for us" Halona assure me.
" Do we have a choice in this matter? " Nina inquired.
" If you girls were ordinary we could have let you go but you are special. Therefore we need to make sure you girls aren't a threat to others and won't reveal supernatural to human sight" Harry replies.
" Zarita says, you guys are not werewolves except for Harry like I thought. Then what are you guys?" Haniya confided
" I am a witch, Jacob is a vampire and Chan-lee is a kitsune meaning a shift shaper fox. We wanted to tell you this but we were waiting for the right moment as this is a lot to take. And believe me, this is getting worse" Sabrina clarified.
" And we will guarantee that this only provides benefits to you and for that, we have this contract for you showing what we are doing this is protected you," Jacob said while handing out a file which I took to read.
Basically, the contract states we girls will be provided full protection and in return, we are obliged to train, will be educated about their confidential details of the company and also work on special projects only if we agree. Then I hand the file toward Asha.
I inquired" What do you mean by confidential details and special projects? "
" Confidential details means supernatural and special projects means missions that our agents work on like catching a rogue, supervising a pack that you can only do on your wish"
All of the girls looked towards Nina and Yasmin our private fortune teller. They blink in assurance and we signed the contract.
The council became delighted and told us to meet our other trainers. And Jacob called someone to tell them to come inside.
This is the time I am going to meet my sister's soulmate. As a sister, I am happy for her that she can know who is 'the one' for her, the one who is made for her and her only. Looking at Haniya, she doesn't look happy or nervous rather she is hating to be at the moment. Strange if I was at her place I would be in seven clouds or nervous as shit. Maybe she isn't ready yet, I have to talk to her.
The door opens by a heavy build muscle, plated blonde blue eyes man followed by red hair with brown eyes woman, who has a paw scare across her neck. Later a black curly hair French man. Along with him is a Mexican brunette hair woman. Lastly, a dark brown curly hair with dark brown eyes man entered.
The moment the last man enters the room, he started to sniff and stopped when his eyes meet Haniya's. Within seconds I saw lust, affection, fondness and love in his eyes. Just like Yasmin told Haniya and the guy said, 'Mates' simultaneously.
