Douma examined a gift that one of his follower's child gifted him, it was odd, he thought to himself.

He carefully placed it down, not because he cared. After all, most of his life was just an act. The blond turned to his attention to the door noticing the slight creaking noise it made.

"I know you're there, and I know your not human." Douma teased the person behind the door.

Akaza fully opened the door and replied, "Thanks for that."

Douma's eyes widened, of course he smelled the blood of a demon coming towards his estate but he never predicted it would be Akaza of all demons.

"Lord Akaza!" Douma dramatically gasped, "Why are you here?" He said in a more serious tone.

"What's your relationship with y/n?" Akaza said, getting straight to the point.

Douma cooed, "Frankly I think it's a little human of you to go out of your way just to ask about her."

"Answer the question." Akaza responded aggressively.

Douma put his hands up, "Calm down! I was kidding. I don't know where she's at. She's not here, haven't seen her in almost a month?" His last sentence surprised him.

Akaza took note of that, "That's odd. But not the question."

"Jeez, we're just friends." Douma rolled his eyes, finally replying to Akaza's question.

"How would you define friend then?" Akaza hissed.

"Hmm..." Douma hummed while rubbing his chin, "Well, to put it simple. I fuck her and after we hang out."

Akaza's jaw dropped, that wasn't a simple explanation.

Not even near the word simple.

"By the look on your face— did she not tell you?" Douma asked.

Akaza nodded, "She did, I assumed you guys would've stopped... guess I was wrong."

"You should never assume anything about her. She quite unpredictable, I like that." He added, "And I like her."

Akaza's eyes, which were trailing around the room quickly looked back at Douma. Who kept the same eerie smile.

"I do too." Akaza confessed.

Douma jumped up from his seat, "No way!"

Akaza sighed, rubbing his temples, "You're annoying and insane for ever thinking she'd like you of all people."

"It's not the crazy of an idea, seeing as she agrees everytime I ask who fucks her better." Douma shrugged.

Douma had done it now, Akaza didn't come for a fight but it was obvious how pissed he was becoming.

The blond sat down on his makeshift thrown, looking down at Akaza as if he was superior.

"It's whatever she wants at the end of the day. She's yet to say anything to either of us, and we haven't seen her in awhile. Maybe she's taking her leave?" Douma suggested.

"No, it's not that." Akaza denied.

Douma cocked his head. "Well how do you know that? How do you know she doesn't hate the both of us?"

Akaza stayed silent, Douma might've been right.

"It's depressing to see you like this, maybe it's time you give up on whatever you feel for her." Douma advised.

He waited for a response, but it never came. Douma blinked and Akaza disappeared.

Just the way he assumed it would go.
