How long till he'd see you again?

It was only a matter of time until you'd show up at his porch, right?

Akaza kept questioning himself, his values, morals — questioning as to why with each day that passed by his mind only focused on you.

By now it'd been months, two from what he's counted.

He doesn't visit Douma often but as of recently both of them have become a lot closer — not because they chose to but because you chose for them.

The only thing they would speak about was you.

How to get you back, where you might've been, what you would be doing at the moment, and why they were even thinking about you in the first place.

Tonight, their agenda had changed. They would finally do something about it.

Even though Akaza disliked working with Douma or anyone for that matter — he knew you better. It hurt Akaza to admit that Douma could read you like a book.

The first time they mutually decided to speak to each other Douma had theorized where you might've been.

However, both men seemed to put the idea of ever going near there.

Predicting what Kokushibo might do — or say, the thought alone made both demons shudder.

Akaza contemplated standing up, toying with his fingers.

Repeatedly reminding himself that he was a mere demon and was generously given a second chance at life and immortality by Muzan.

Do what Muzan says, don't fall subject to human emotion.

How pathetic he was. At the very least if you're going to fall in love let it be with a human.

The sun was close to setting, he'd have to make his own decision now.

Was the possibility of being brutally murdered for another demon who seemed to have vanished off the face of the Earth worth it?

"Akaza you look so depressed when deep in thought." Douma whispered as he crouched behind him, observing the demon.

"Six feet bitch." He crudely reminded the blonde.

Douma put his hands up, something he often did with Akaza. Surprisingly he never got tired of it.

He sighed, "Let's go. I know how you are."

"No, you don't," Akaza replied whilst standing up.

Neither man spoke while making their way to him, both knew it could either go their way or no way.

Upon arriving Akaza repeated to himself that he was solely interested in your whereabouts and nothing else.

Although Douma could tell otherwise he knew it was better for the both of him if he just stayed quiet for once.

Kokushibo as per usual, sitting on the porch and toying with his sword. It was slightly shocking to see him so calm yet his presence felt extremely tense.

"I wonder what I could've done..." Kokushibo mumbled, "to have received such an unexpected and unwanted visit from the two of you."

Douma giggled, "So you don't know what we're here for?"

The demon sighed, closing his eyes. He didn't want them to get near and the others knew.

"I supposed I could list some things, however, I believe we can all guess which would be at the top of the list." Kokushibo got up and propped his sword so he could lay all his weight on it while he stood.

Akaza finally spoke, "Where is she?"

His response was a lay shoulder shrug, "How would I know? She hasn't come to tell me, she left before her training was over. I presume she's long gone."

While no one was surprised by this very likely possibility, both Akaza and Douma felt sharp pains hit their chests.

"Don't be silly Kokushibo, we both know she was stronger than Akaza! How could she have died?" Douma smiled.

"Lord Muzan." Kokushibo said.

Akaza intercepted before Douma could reply, "Didn't he want her to rise the ranks?"

"Yes, but she became a problem. His tolerance and patience aren't high." Kokushibo explained.

Douma frowned, "I don't think Lord Muzan would want that. She must be alive!"

Kokushibo shook his head, "You never feel despair do you?"

"I try not to." The blonde chuckled.

"Your hope for others is admirable. If she is alive she won't be for long, one way or another Lord Muzan will find her." He said while walking into his home.

Akaza's eyes widened, "The hell is that supposed to mean?"

Douma watched as Akaza took a couple more steps forward. He knew not to join Akaza's small rebellion but he too felt slightly afraid by what Kokushibo said.

"Step back. I don't play like Lord Douma, I know nothing. I'm just realistic." Kokushibo said before he disappeared into thin air.

Akaza was left speechless and pissed. The demon turned back to Douma whose face was more pale than usual.

"I'm leaving. By myself." Akaza announced.

Douma didn't respond he just stood there.

Douma had been deep in thought, why did he care so badly to know where you were? Why?

It'd only become apparent after what Kokushibo said that...

...he had fallen in love.
