2 hours after the party...

Everyone had managed to get us to spill the beans. It was obvious that there was a thing between me and Dr. Buck.

Needless to say, Agent Green was pissed.

And even worse was Dr. numita, Dr. Buck's dad found out.
And he's a dick. If you think Dr. Buck is a cold ice cube, this guy was the freezer.

And why was his surname different from Dr. Buck's? Well Buck was the surname of Dr. Buck's mother.

He was going to arrive at the site today. And Dr. Buck was panicking because he had abused her all of her life.

We were sitting in my office. I was trying to comfort her.

And then I got the message that he arrived.

"Either we go meet him, or he comes barging In here." I said.

"I don't think I can go near him again!" She said

"Im here. I will not let him hurt you." I said to her.

We both walked out and went to the helipad outside where a man, with glasses and a tied back ponytail, stood menacingly.

I slowly approached.

"Hi" I said, not the best approach.

"So, you're that dickhead I heard was with my daughter" he said.

I already saw what was coming a mile away.

"You keep your filthy hands off of her." He said.

He marched right up to Dr. Buck and backhanded her.

Not even a minute with this asshole and I already wanted to kill him.

"YOU ARE SERIOUSLY GOING TO PULL THIS SHIT WITH ME AGAIN?!!!" He shouted to her.

She began crying.

I walked over to help her up.

He grabbed my wrist.

He stared me dead in the eye. He wasn't playing around.

I slapped his hand off.

"Is this seriously how you treat your child?" I asked, before helping her up.

She wept into my chest.

"This is none of your concern" he said.

"Look asshole, her safety became my concern the moment we met. I have every reason to ask her goddamn father to act like an adult!" I said to him.

"Am I supposed to be scared of you?" He asked.

"Man, it looks like the apple can fall far from the tree after all." I said.

"I told you he was an asshole." said Dr. Buck.

"Yeah no shit." I said

I began to walk away with her.

"You should have melted with that little girl when that bomb shell dropped." Said Numita.

I stopped. I balled my fists. But no matter how angry I got, I couldn't attack him. I would get demoted.

I heard him chuckle at my rage.

Dr. Buck gently held my hand.
"Don't let him get to you" she said.

I calmed down and continued walking.

"Charming fellow" I joked.

We walked back inside and back to my office.

"In sorry" she said.

"No, I'm sorry. It was my fault, It was my idea to go out and meet him." I argued.

Someone pounded on the door.

"Who is it?!" I shouted.

"Hey dickhead, were not done yet!!" Shouted Dr. Numita on the other side.
