(this chapter is based on MelanieGarcia032's SCP oneshots chapter titled "coma".)

I was a dripping mess, i smelled like chlorine.

Amelia ran and hugged me.

I squeezed her back and we both cried into eachother's shoulder.

"Mark!! What the fuck happened?!!" She cried.

My hands were shaking.

She held me close, my head under her chin.

"Ive got you! Youre okay..." She was trying to comfort both me and herself.

I heard laughing.

We both looked up and saw Leo laughing his ass off at us crying.

He had been let out early.

"Piece of shi-" i was on the verge of beating the crap out of this douchebag.

Amelia grabbed my arm.

"He's not worth it." She said.
She stared into my eyes with the same glitter that was always there, the one that i always saw from the first day i met her.

I calmed down.

She walked me to the infirmary while Leo chuckled in the background.

I was checked out and i was fine.

After a shower and a few hours of rest, i was fine.

I had explained what had happened and an investigation will be held in a few days.

I was walking down the hall when i heard the yellow alert go off.

"Warning, security breach, SCP 9870." said a voice over the PA system.

I ran to 9870's chamber to find the cat licking it's paws.

Dr. Collingwood was on the floor.

"Molly!!" Lawrence ran in and checked her pulse while i had my gun on the cat.

"9870, back up or i will shoot!" I ordered.

Lawrence picked up Molly and ran her to the infirmary.

9870. hissed at me, before pouncing.

The ball of fur flew at my face and scratched my cheek.

"F**K!!!" I yelled, barely managing to toss the cat away.

9870 left only minor skin wounds, a warning.

This is exactly why i hate cats.

It's claws grew longer.

I fired two shots at the ground below it.

9870 scampered back into it's cage.

I slammed it's cage shut.

"You foundation personnel are all the same!" It hissed.

I ran off to the infirmary with lawrence and Molly.

She was on a bed.

"She's in a coma" the doctor said.

"How long until she wakes up?" Lawrence asked.

"We dont know. Could be an hour, a day, a decade." The doctor said.

Lawrence sniffled, holding her hand.

I placed my hand on his shoulder.

Figuring he needed time, I walked off.
