I stormed towards molly's office and knocked on the door.

"Come in!" I heard her call.

I opened the door.

"Oh, Hi Mark!" She cheerfully said.

I didnt return the mood.

"What the hell did you say to Carson?"

I held up my phone, showing the group chat.

"O-oh..."

She just stood there, awkwardly "Tell carson im sorry..."

"Tell him yourself!"

She blinked.

She walked out and a few minutes later, came back in tears of regret.

"I really didnt expect this kind of thing from you, of all people!"

"Molly, the sweetest person in all of the foundation, picking on carson because of something out of his control"

I stormed out, letting her think for a while.

The PA system beeped.

"Lieutenant Valeria, Agents Carson, Wheeler, and Leo please report to the armoury for mission briefing immediately" the voice said before the intercom clicked off.

"Of course he's free again" I groaned in annoyance.

I walked into the armoury where Leo, Carson, and valeria stood in their tactical gear.

"Youre late" she said.

I sighed and opened my locker.

I pulled out all my stuff and put it on the table.

"Today, we are going to try to contain an anomalous entity discovered in a household residence. Its late so we will wear our dark camo. Hopefully, the rest of the neighborhood is asleep." Valeria explained.

"Sounds easy enough" Leo said. "Just gotta make sure nobody compromises the mission!" He teased Carson.

Valeria did literally nothing to stop him.

I took my shirt off and changed into my cotton/black khaki combat tunic.

I caught Valeria's eyes lock onto my body briefly as I changed, extremely unprofessional on her part.

I changed to my pair of black camouflage rip-stop pants and tactical boots.

I strapped my vest on quickly and stocked it up with ammo and tools.

I picked up my helmet and fastened my Quad-NODS to the front.

I put my balaclava on over my head and face and then put the helmet on.

I unfolded my G36 and stood ready.

"Alright, LETS GO!" she yelled.

We all marched out and outside the gate to the van.

I was greeted by a kiss on the cheek by Amelia as I walked outside.

"Ill always come back..." I kissed her back.

She smiled as I climbed in.

The doors closed and we drove off into the night.

Inside were a few more random operatives with us.

We arrived and the van doors opened, letting in the cool night breeze and the sound of crickets chirping.

We stepped out, guns trained on the door of the house.

A few other agents waited at the door.

I flipped down my night vision goggles.

Carson grabbed the lockpick from his pocket and began picking the front door's locks.

"Go faster, idiot" Leo said.

"Im trying!" Carson snapped.

I nudged Leo away.

"Back off! Star Trek boy!" He shouted.

Everyone shushed him.

Valeria continued to ignore his violations.

She moved in slowly, signaling us to follow.

We all flooded in and went down the halls.

"Small room right!" went onto the small room on his right.

"Moving left!" Carson called, going to his left into another room.

Valeria stayed in the hall while i swept the smaller room ahead.

"Clear! Coming out!" I said, doing so.

"Coming out!"

"Coming!" They all called.

Leo waited until Carson passed before coming out, giving him a good shove.

I glared at Leo.

We placed out hand on the shoulder of the person in front of us, forming a single file line and evacuated the hallway.

The only room left was the basement.

"Mark, you go first" Valeria suddenly sent me down.

I slowly and cautiously walked down the stairs, G36 trained ahead.

When i reached the bottom, I was startled when a creature appeared out of thin air, it was made of fire.

I aimed my rifle at it only to have it slapped away.

"Contact!" I yelled.

Everyone came down and aimed their rifles while i grabbed mine from the floor.

"Sister, come with us" Valeria pleaded.

"LEAVE ME ALONE!! i will no longer be studied by your... FOUNDATION!!!" The creature roared.

"We wont hurt you, we cant unless you are hostile!" Carson said.

"SHUT UP CARSON!!" Leo yelled.

The anomaly growled, startled, eyes full of fire.

"NO!! You have five minutes to leave before i light the air on fire and tear this house apart!!" It screamed.

"EVERYONE OUT" Valeria ordered.

We all ran out of the house.

"QUICK!!! TAKE COVER!!!!" i screamed.

We dove behind the van and covered our ears as the house lit up in flames and exploded, the fire consuming 2 MTF agents.

"LOOK WHAT YOU DID, CARSON!!!" Valeria screamed.

"All you know what to do is kill people!!" Leo shoved carson as they got up.

He fell back.

Valeria did nothing.

"BOTH OF YOU, ENOUGH!!!" I yelled.

I couldnt do much, i would get in trouble for disobeying my LT.

But then again, Valeria wouldnt be punished anyways.

"Lieutenant Valeria, you are under arrest for allowing abuse of an officer under your command. Leo, you are under arrest for abuse of an officer, and conduct unbecoming of A Mobile Tas-" I was cut off as Leo tackled me suddenly.

I fell and hit the pavement.

He bashed my head in the solid road, my helmet barely keeping me from a concussion.

I managed to shove him off as Valeria did nothing as usual.

Leo grabbed my G36 and aimed.

Only then did she interfere and take the gun.

Carson helped me up, getting backhanded by Valeria once afterward.

I put her in a hold and got a pair of cuffs.

I put them on her wrists and shoved her in the van.

We drove back to the site with 2 dead Operatives, and no anomaly.
