Something

Around fifty years ago, there was a man and his partner sailing in a boat.. the two had left in a boat at night, and by morning sunrise, the boat returned. But only the man was on board.

He smiled as you splashed around in the water, giggling as you acted out you couldn't swim and that you were, in fact, drowning. But then the screaming started, and your hand began to try and pull you back to the boat, like your other was stuck, encased by a reed.

He laughed then, but it was more awkward now. He didn't like these types of pranks. "Love, I think this is going to far now.." he said, tone anxious. The sentence was accompanied by a deep frown, and baby blue eyes darting all over the place, never able to stay in one place for too long.

"No, please help-" you spluttered, voice swallowing some water and still spashing and struggling. It looked incredibly convincing. He came to a conclusion that made him smile, looking back at you. "Oh, I get it, you're playing some kind of charades, right?"

He laughed, and laughed, and continued laughing until your screaming stopped. Then, he looked over to see nothing but your hand.

His smile dropped as he watched you sink beneath the waves a final time, the hand the previously was splashing around to get up falling limp and sinking with your body. Tears dripped from someone's eyes, and he lifted a hand up to dab at his cheek. He was crying. He didn't sob, or scream, he just stayed still, tears flowing from his face for a moment. Then, he grabbed the oars, and rowed back to land under the rising sun.

You were dead.

You were actually dead.

He hadn't helped.

You. Were. Dead.

Warning! Battery low, remain at power station to avoid damage.

Sun lifted his head up, infrared sensors searchig for any heat in the daycare. A body was present, but right now he couldn't check. He was still stuck to his charging station, after all.

He shut his eyes, and used a command he hadn't in a while.

He hopped out of the charging station, running up the blocks he used to get into his stage and spun out. "HOOO, HO HO!" He yelled, and dived into the ball pit.

As he got out, he remembered Y/N was sensitive to loud noises. "Sorry," he said, a little quieter than his usual tone.

You giggle softly, "it's fine. You must be sun?"

Your head titled to the side, and he nods. "Yep, that's me!" He says, still kind of quiet. The bells on his wrist jingle as he placed them on his hips.

You smile, and his internal fans begin to cool him down. You looked and sounded super adorable.
