Um, just gonna try out the whole self input thing.
Sorry if this is shit-

(Context: F/N = Friend name)

----------

You take a deep breath, today was your first day in your new job. Your friend said one of the nice CEO's was to meet you by the door, to show you around. "I'm just saying though, don't piss them off. They can really hate you if they wanted to. And keep in mind, they always seem to know what's going on. Watch yourself." F/N warned before getting in their car, leaving. After all, it was the end of their shift.

You walk in, already spotting him. He catches sight of you, walking over, a large and excited grin on his face. "Hey! I'm Jax, the CEO F/N was talking about." Upon seeing your confused and shocked face, he shook his head. "Don't worry, I wasn't listening in, F/N told me they spoke to you." You nod and the tour began.

------------

"And that's it, really! If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to call me! My number will be on the daycare's desk, where you'll be for tonight. Your clothes are I'm the changing room just there," he pointed to a room just behind him, "change and then make your way up."

He goes to leave, but pauses, turning back to you. "Oh, lastly, please don't kiss the daycare attendant. well," he shrugged, "not in front of the security cameras, at least. Vanessa will freak out." He gave you a wink before leaving.

You raise an eyebrow, what? Why would you kiss-? You shake your head, walking into the room and changing. You weren't getting paid to question, after all.

Once inside the daycare, you note the fun (and slightly irritating) music playing overhead. You look to the colourful slide, then to the long hall and stairs. You shrug, turning away from the slide and walking to the stairs. You were not taking the slide, though you kind of wanted to.

"Hey!" You jump, but remember the walkie talkie in your tool belt next to your torch you found on top of your work clothes. (If Americans are reading this, or just anyone who don't know what a torch is, it's the equivalent to a flashlight. Personally, I use both, but mainly torch)

You take it out, "hello?" A laugh is radiod(is that what you call it?) through, before speaking. "Chill, it's Jax again. This is before I leave for the night, so listen up. Going over some things again: all doors will be locked, though you have a key and level ten security badge, so you'll be fine. Just didn't want you to freak out. All right, night!" With that, the radio shut off, but turned on again, "sorry, I always forget something! Don't be shy to take the slide, it actually makes Sun easier to handle, since if you don't he'll think you're uncomfortable, or grumpy. Since it's in his programming to change that, he won't leave you alone. You can see how that ends up."

Finally, he stopped talking, actually done now. Placing the walkie talkie back into your belt, you shrug, walking back the short distance you just trekked before getting in the slide with a sigh, pushing yourself down.

You fall into the pit, bright colours swarming your vision for a moment before you stand up, getting out and inspecting where you are.

For a child, this must be heaven. Play sets, colour mats, arts and crafts tables, a fake stage, it had it all! For an adult only here for the money it would provide, it was an adequate space.

You walked over to the security desk, falling onto the chair and placing your feet on the desk, spotting the paper Jax talked about (well, hinted at) with the words 'my number' scribbled there, next to a string of numbers.

You shrug, placing it in your pocket and pulling out your phone and earbuds, ready to play your Spotify playlist. "New friend?!" A voice called, high pitched and could come off as irritating, much like the music still playing. You shake your head, he couldn't be too bad,

Surely?

I hope this was good! I really enjoyed making this, so hopefully you enjoyed reading this!

Thank you again and goodbye for now!
