Chandrapur often called Chandrapuri is a kingdom between Hastinapur and Magadh, it was established by a great King named Pushyamitra with blessings of Chandradev.
The city endued with great wealth, fastest of horses and strongest of elephants is the rival of Kururashtra's capital Hastinapur.
Both these Kingdoms have been at war for centuries for desiring control over riverine routes, fertile lands and trade routes.
