"You look like a princess," Nymphadora tugged on Lacerta's dress with a wide grin, showing off her missing teeth. "Can I put on your makeup?"

"Er," she smiled politely at her. An angry child was not something she wanted to deal with before her first date with James. "How about I do your makeup and we can match?"

Her hair turned a bright pink with glee as she plopped herself down in front of the mirror in the bathroom. She closed her eyes in anticipation. Lacerta brushed a light layer of glitter over her eyelids, finding the action soothing for her racing heart. "Reggie wanted his done too," her cousin nodded matter-of-factly. "But he said I have to do it."

"Did he now?" she smirked. She added watermelon lipgloss that was sure to be licked off shortly after. "I'm all finished. Go get him and I'll help you make him pretty."

"On it!" she ran out of the bathroom. The house was much too small for five people. It only had three bedrooms, leaving Nymphadora and Lacerta sharing one that barely fit two beds. The older girl was forced to either share a twin bed with six-year-old that slept starfish style or sleep on the couch.

Sirius was in the process of buying them a flat, but he had found a small house in a muggle town that he fell in love with. It was tricky because he didn't know anything about muggle currency and was having trouble shorting it out with a realtor. Lily came by when she wasn't helping her bridezilla of a sister with her wedding.

The Tonks family was also in the process of moving with the help of their friends - Frank and Alice Longbottom. The other couple was trying to discreetly buy them a house that would keep them hidden until the end of the war, when Bellatrix would be thrown behind bars.

"You look. . . nice," Regulus said awkwardly when he entered the bathroom. She looked down at her dark red halter dress that was a bit too small but made her chest look fantastic. There was a slight breeze outside, so she covered it with a jean jacket that she definitely stole from James back in fourth year.

"Don't worry, Reggie," Dora pushed him so that he was sitting on the toilet. "I'll make you look nice too."

"Great," he said sarcastically, wincing when the young girl accidently stabbed him in the eye with the liner. "When is lover boy getting here?"

"Should be any minute. I can't wait until August when I can apparate myself."

"You look like you're shitting yourself," Sirius cackled, clutching his side as he tried not to roll off the bed.

James looked at his flattened hair, which was covered in so much product that it bared resemblance to Snape's grease. He was wearing a simple button up and black trousers, arguing with himself if he should add a tie or not and then wondering if it was too much for a simple date in the park.

"You're going to be fine, Prongs," Peter assured him, glaring at Sirius and Remus who were trying not to giggle.

"Oh, James," his mother held a hand to her mouth to hide her grin. "Why don't you pop in the shower and the boys will pick something for you to wear. Your father is sorry he had to leave, and I swear he wasn't laughing at you."

"Right," he rolled his eyes. He was quick to shower, not taking more than five minutes. He wanted to arrive early and make a good impression with her only remaining family. They had set out a plain t-shirt, letterman jacket, and jeans. The jacket had been a birthday gift from the boys with Gryffindor colors and his last name in bold print.

Euphemia helped him dry his hair, telling him to leave it natural. "If she doesn't like it looking like a nest than she is not the girl for you."

"She loves my hair, even when it looks like this," he sighed. "I just want everything to be perfect because she comes from such a prestigious family. What if she wants someone like that?"
