Cynthia: "it isn't very often that I takes house trip to visit a potential student, but Vincent pique my interest when he insisted that two prodigy's of the highest caliber are currently living in his home"

Ugh...damn Vincent I'm trying to go to bed but...I was feeling bored so a fight make make this day more interesting

Cynthia: "would you mind leading us to an open space so I can see a demonstration?"

Tabitha: "oh, sure!"

Art: "erm, can I at least eat din— ouch!"

Mom: "Arthur!"

I kinda agree I'm very hungry and tired

Tabitha: "this way director Cynthia"

Vincent: "yes! We have a wonderful paved courtyard that'll be suitable!"

Are they saying that because art and his dad burned the backyard?

Art: ["looks like we won't be eating dinner anytime soon, Sylvie"]

Sylvie then hopped down and walked towards art to walk beside him

Cynthia: "my...what a lovely mana beast. Is that your father's contacted beast?"

Art: "no. Sylvie is my bond. She hatched just just a few months ago"

Cynthia: "interesting many nobles here purchase mana beasts to form a contract. But I've never seen a mana beast like Sylvie"

Art: "her mother was some sort of scaled wolf with small wings. She was almost dead protecting her egg when I stumbled into her I guess I got lucky"

{at the courtyard}

Vincent: "here we are!"

Cynthia: "well, let's see if what Vincent said wasn't just an exaggeration. He mentioned that you both were augmenters, but refused to tell me anything beyond that, saying it'll be a surprise"

I don't like how she's looking down on me

Cynthia: ["these boys appear neither worried nor scared. Is it confidence or arrogance that make them so collected?"]

Why is she taking this so seriously I just want to rest since my mind still needs to adjust to these memories

I also don't like the attention that we are getting

Cynthia: "do you not wish to arm yourself with a weapon at the very least?"

Art: "seeing as you have no intention of using the wand decorating your waistband, I will go barehanded as well"

Damn it...art said it first...I wanted to go first so I can go to bed but I'm reading her mind and she already picked art 😔

Cynthia: "very well shall we begin with Arthur first"

Art went first and using earth magic broke the ground causing to go into the air that he then used as long range attacks

Cynthia then used wind magic to make tornados to destroy the rocks going towards her

Art then rushed her with a spiral of wind that went to opposite direction of her tornados

But art was then blasted back by a strong push of wind

Art than used wind to slow himself and used a rock to bounce off and try to rush her again but she made another tornado and knock him away

(She fucking spamming)

And in that amount of time art got blasted Cynthia already made more tornados spells

Art then started conjuring wind in the opposite rotation to deflect the tornados
