All of us end up chilling around downtown and pointlessly walk to random places for the rest of the day, until seven o'clock finally comes. It's now beginning to get dark outside so we eventually get to the bus stop and hop on, taking us back to the main street where the park is. All of our houses are pretty close from here, so most of the time when we're not together we just send texts that read 'park, asap.' But since we're all chilling right now we just plan on hanging out, maybe waiting for some other kids from school or whoever else to come by. Sometimes they have drugs they like to share, but you never know what they put in that shit so it's a good idea to say no.

Sike! I always say yeah. Who cares what's in it? Laced? You say dangerous and I say that's awesome. It's a surprise for you, right? You're blazed more than you ever have been before and you don't even have to throw down and pay for it.

Xavier sits down on the bench and I sit next to him, Spencer on the mulch and Tessa resting silently on his lap. Of course they're too busy sucking face to help us break up the bud.

“Spencer, can we ever get any fucking help from you?” X asks in a loud and serious tone, picking up the folder we hide under a rock to make this easier for us.

He passes it to me and tosses me the bag. “Who's rolling it?” I ask him, sharply exhaling.

He lazily smirks at me in return, getting me to glare at him. “You, motherfucker. I'm too beat.”

“Can I help you break it?” Mickey easily questions, as I thankfully nod while she plops down on the empty spot next to me.

I express a slight smile as she smiles back. “Yeah, thanks.”

“No problem,” she mutters, dumping it out and putting it on the folder laying between us.

A few seconds later of complete silence is when Juliana speaks up and breaks the quiteness. She softly lets out, “Can I have another cigarette?”

Her eyes immediately set on mine as I shrug at her. “I don't have any...”

“Here,” Tessa sighs, pulling away from Spencer's lips and pulling out her pack from under her shirt. She throws it at her and then Julie smiles, happily.

“I love when you roll,” Mickey suddenly tells me, staring at me through her half closed eyes.

   “That makes two of us.”

   “Are you being sarcastic?”

“Possibly,” I sarcastically answer, staring down at the bud, breaking it, until she laughs.

“If you don't shut up then you'll be sorry,” Mickey uddenly warns me.

I grinned at her and narrowed my eyebrows. “Is that a threat?”

“Ooooh,” Xavier mumbles as I stare over at him in a burst of frustration. I flip him the finger and narrow my eyes as I give him my best glare, which always tends to scare the shit out of everyone who decides to fuck with me. “Just fucking roll.”

“Yeah Blaze,” Mickey quietly agrees. “Or I'll give you another black eye.”

I quickly stare at her and exhale sharply, rolling my eyes and releasing a chuckle under my breath, loving how easy it is for her to make me laugh. This girl definitely has game. “Enough of those daddy beating jokes,” I say to her.

“What's that?” Juliana carefully questions, us all looking at her and going completely quiet. I hope to God nobody will say anything about my family.  I'd rather not deal with that shit right now, explaining to her why my face is so fucked up right now and why it probably will be for the rest of the time that she knows me. "Daddy beating jokes?"
