I smile when I look at Mickey, loving how easy she's being throughout this whole situation. She's so brave, and I admire that about her. I wish I was that brave. She ends up saying goodbye to both of us, and gives Blaze the car keys to her mom's vehicle. I'm happy when she gives me a tight hug, because I know now that we're still friends, and we always will be. Hopefully...

Once we get in the car and Blaze starts it up, is when I grab his hand and grin at him. "You know I was going to go to a stranger's house tonight?" I ask him, as he shoots his eyes on me and frowns.

"What?" He barks, as I hold onto his hand tighter.  "What are you talking about?"

"My mom didn't pick me up. I hitched a ride from a guy who was driving down the street, and when he saw me he asked if I needed a ride--"

"Are you stupid?" He nearly yells in my face, as I feel my eyes widen and he yanks his arm away from me.

"Blaze..."

"I can't believe you!" He backs out of the driveway quickly, and begins racing down the road as I gulp and stare silently at him. "You're not thinking lately, Julie. You need to stop popping the pills."

"That's rude," I snap, him glancing over at me in a glare.

"I don't give a fuck how rude it sounds."

"I was just upset that I was about to have sex with my boyfriend when he told me my best friend was seriously pregnant and that he knew it for sure," I rush out, him laughing under his breath in return.

"Don't turn this on me," He argues as I slap his arm.

"Stop being such a dumb jerk!" I snap at him back, him slamming his foot on the gas as it speeds even faster.

"Me the jerk? You could have fu***g gotten raped, or even killed, by a complete stranger."

"Yes I admit I wasn't exactly thinking straight at that moment, but he ended up stopping and he told me that I needed to get out or call a friend..."

"So you called Mickey, and not me," he questions, staring over at me in confusion. "That's low."

"I didn't know how you'd react, Blaze. And wait a minute. Why were you even at her house?" I ask him, in a serious and demanding tone, him making the car come to a complete stop on the side of the street, as I almost slam into the windsheild before he pushes me back against the seat with his arm.

"Because she's my friend and I needed someone."

"But you went there right after I left you!"

"If you turn this on me, Juliana, I swear to God I will fu***g kill someone," he threatens, putting the car in park and staring blankly at me, turning on the dim light.

"Go do it. Don't let me stop you."

"I don't even know if I'm in love with you anymore," he suddenly lets out, as I suck in a long breath and scowl in anger at him.

"I cannot believe you just said that," I carefully state, him shrugging. "You fucking asshole."

"You're changing. You've already changed, to be completely honenst with you..."

"You did too! You're being a prick tonight! What the heck is wrong with you--"

"My dad's dead," he cautiously rushes out, unexpectedly, as I hold my breath and stay silent. "After you left my house, my mom told me that my dad fking died. So yeah, I'm maybe a little bit more tense and I guess you could say I'm in a state of shock or whatever."
