ACACIA

It's weird. Acacia thought, as he and the group, along with Ghost, headed down the cave, to wake up Lunate.

It's extremely weird. I find it hard to think that I only met these dragons two weeks ago. I find it hard to think that all our hard work has led up to this moment.

A silence flooded Acacia.

In a way, I don't want to stop.

Yeah, I wanna wake up Lunate and stuff, but what about all that adventure? It was kinda fun... minus the nearly getting killed part.

Oh! That reminds me...

"Hey, uh Ghost?" Acacia asked.

"What?" The CavernWing mumbled back. "I want to get the others and wake up Lunate, not answer your questions."

"It's important."

Ghost sighed. "Go ahead..."

"So, you know how we're basically wanted criminals, right?"

"It would appear that way."

"Well, there's probably no chance of going back to the hives, yes?"

"Probably."

"Which means we have nowhere to go."

"What do you mean, we? You can go back to the LeafWings, or wherever you came from. A-assuming there's more of you. I highly doubt it's just you and Mallow."

"Well, yeah, but-"

"You want to come with us, don't you?"

"Yup."

"Why? I can understand the others, but not you." She paused. "And Mallow, actually."

"What do you mean?"

"You can go back to your tribe, but they can't. You can have everything you had before, but they can't."

"Funny story about that..."

"Mhm?"

"I thought you said you wanted to wake up Lunate."

"I do, but now I'm intrigued. What did you do? Sleep on someone's roof? Set someone on fire?"

"N-no... Wait, how would I set someone on fire?"

"There's a lot of ways, now stop trying to change the subject."

"Eh, let's just say... I broke Admiral out of his capture."

"And?"

"That's classed as a violation."

"And?"

"And?"

Ghost grunted. "I mean, what else did you do?"

"I did nothing else."

"Yes you did."

"Wheeeeeeeeeeere's the proof?"

"Just tell me what you did."

"I... maybe, maybe, just maybe," Acacia stopped. "How would I phrase this..."

"Get on with it."

"I publicly embarrassed myself. To say the least."

"Ah, ok. And Mallow?"

"What about her?"

"Why can't she return to the LeafWings?"
