- finally back from holiday so more updates plus school soon ...
"WHERE THE FUCK IS HE?"
And just like that, it was ruined.
"WHERE'S WHO?" Hi-yun shouts back, clearly disturbed at Hoo-woon's sudden presence and shouting.
"YOU'RE FUCKING SON!" He exclaims angrily, his voice even being heard next door as hsi voice rattles throughout the house.
"Calm down, he's not here, what do you want?" Hi-yun says sharply, trying to calm down the angry man in front of him.
"I told him to be at mine by seven this morning but this bastard never turned up!" Hoo-woon shouts, pointing to the door as if Namjoon was going to suddenly appear at his feet and call from all his screaming.
"Let me call him, sit here and calm down while you wait." Namjoon's mother demands, walking off to the kitchen to find her phone.
With luck, despite it being an early Saturday morning when she was sure wherever he was he would be in a deep sleep, Namjoon picked up after a few rings, automatically asking what she wanted so early in the morning, especially after having made sure the night before they both knew where he was so they didn't disturb him.
"We need you back now." she snarls, Namjoon able to hear her gritting her teeth through the phone realising for once it wasn't their issue.
"What could have possibly happened now?!" sighing, he only wanted one unproblematic free weekend. Was that really too much to ask?
"Well Big man over here is screaming about how you were meant to meet him at yours at seven this morning and now he's angry you aren't and wants to know where you are." She explains hastily, feeling just as angry at the fact both their mornings had been disturbed.
More annoyed at the fact she knew she wasn't going to get what she wanted but her dear old husband "wouldn't feel like it anymore" tired of giving him when he wants because she had to give herself up when he wants.....completely unaware he still see's he rmore of a prostitute still.
I mean he did pick her up from there. What does she expect?
"Ugh, tell him, we'll be at his place in an hour." He sighs, rubbing his temples, afraid of what could break down when they enter his hell hole of a house. It is in good condition, that's all he could say about it.
"You had better be, I hope you remember who the fuck you're dealing with here." Snarling back at her own son, did she care? No Had she ever cared how she treated her son? Of course not.
She only had him to help a plan, nothing else.
"I'll never forget, don't worry." He scruffs back, immediately ending the call, even grimacing at his mother's own voice, unable to even stand that anymore. The quicker he was away, the better.
"He'll meet you at yours in an hour." She informs, walking back into the living room, crashing onto the sofa yawning, quickly falling asleep as she laid her head on the arm of the sofa listening to the men talking.
"You look like you're brewing something." Hi-yun points out, looking deeply into his friends eyes who currently looked far away.
"You already know how I react with these things normally." He says, his top lip lifted as he looks up.
"You can't kill him." Hi-yun reminds, he loved his son like a son just not as much, but even if he wanted to stop Hoo-woon he knew he couldn't, this man had too much power over him for him to interfere.
"Yes I know that, I don't hit women except for exceptions, so Sung is out of the question, ugh whatever I'll just beat him as a punishment, maybe sending him to military early wasn't enough for him to shut up and do as he's told." Standing up and walking out of the house to return home which was empty for once, not even letting Hi-yun get a word in before he left.
"You ready?" Namjoon asks Sung as she pulls on her shoes, grouchy after being rudely woken on a saturday morning, something that never used to happen before she met them.
"You pulled me from my beauty sleep, think again." She snaps back, her eyes still drowsy as she still hadn't woken up properly.
"Yeah well, Hoo-woon wants us and I forgot to tell you, well I completely forgot about it so there we go, right let's go." Namjjon hurries, quickly shutting the door behind them, careful not to wake the ret of the other sleeping bodies.
"What does he want us for this early?" She moans, slugging in her step as they begin walking, thankfully it was only a ten minute walk considering where they were beforehand, giving Sung the optimum amount of time she could have slept before needing to arrive there.
"Honestly I don't even know anymore, he said quote .'' Surprise for Sung as it's her birthday." but that was only after I told him it was your birthday and that he had a few papers or something for us and wanted to speak that is literally all I know." He explains, naturally wrapping his arm around her, the morning breeze getting to them both.
"Guess we will just have to find out then."
And little did they knew of what they were going to be presented with so early....."You wanted us?" Namjoon called out, shutting the door behind Sung as they stepped in, a weird atmosphere and aura instantly hitting them as they began to walk further in.
"Stay right there.!" Hoo-woon shouts in a snarl, suddenly appearing from the door's threshold.
"What is going-" Sung begins to speak, hoping to calm the tense atmosphere that had kicked in, before stuttering in her speech as Hoo-woon gives Namjoon a large slap on the face, making hsi face instantly turn as a large red hand mark appeared on his face, the anger on Hoo-woon's face still not disappearing.
Sung knew he abused people, but she never thought he would snoop as low as hitting them who had just turned from children to adults, but then again that could have been why, because they were finally adults.
"How many times have I told you not to be late huh?!" He shouts at Namjoon, who had opened a side of him he never wanted Sung to see, his eyes changing as he put on defence mode.
"Guess you're still as immature as child I see." Namjoon says back, raising his head back up before being hit with another smack,, Hoo-woon hooking his foot round the back of his leg as he did so to make him fall to the ground.
Sung just stood there frozen, unable to think or do anything, it was as if she had just become a piece of ice in a freezer because that's exactly how she felt.
"You just don't learn do you? Why do you think I am sending you off to the military as soon as you two are married!" He shouts, his face slowly calming as he let his anger out onto Namjoon who just shut his mouth, letting whatever happen happen to him as always, like he had always done when he came the Hoo-woon's live punching bag, continuously kicking him hard into the stomach ignoring Sung's presence completely.
"Now get up and follow me." He coughs, clearing his throat and posture, walking away into another room which had papers sprawled out at one end.
"What the fuck-" Sung whispers, Namjoon putting his finger to silence her.
"We'll talk later." He says, straightening himself out as they trail behind sitting down either side of Hoo-woon who sat careless at the top of the long table.
"Read and sign." He demands, focused on his folders of papers in front of him.
"So this is what you wanted us for." Namjoon sighs, splitting their pile into a half, giving Sung half to make the job quicker.
"Today is training day and if you do well I'll reward you both."
"Training day for what?" Sung asks, completely confused on what was going on and why he was acting like this.
"Taking over the business of course now hurry up I got a whole day planned we can't dilly dally now." He demands, not taking his eyes of his documents for one second, unaware of the look the couple were giving eachother, as if reading eachother's mind.
"We are definitely talking later."
Something they were going to wish they had discussed before now....
