"Morty is on Jessica's Instagram again." Summer said. "Get out of here, jerk!" Morty shouted. "What's so embarrassing, Morty? Sharing it with your family might help." Jerry said. "Summer, stop shaming your brother. Morty, stop being a creepy, perverted cyberstalker." Beth scolded. You snickered. "I'm not cyberstalking! I- I- I just wanted to know where she got this necklace from. And now I know. Her - Her - Her grandma left it to her." Morty said. "you're quiet, Rick. Shouldn't you be revealing grandmas aren't real?" Jerry asked. "Shut up, dad." You said. "Don't use that kind of language with your father (Y/n)." Beth said. "Hi. I've placed an auto-response chip in my brain so I can spend time with my family." Rick said. "But you are spending time with your family." Beth pointed out. "Thank you for talking to Rick." Rick suddenly gasped and snapped out of it. "Alright, I'm finished with my breakfast. and my Amazon wish list. Let's go, guys. I need deata pros alime." Rick said as he grabs you and Morty and leaves the table. "Uh..." Jerry said, looking at Beth. "Dad? There's a way we do this now." Beth reminded. Rick stopped, and let go of your arm. "Morty, (Y/n), would you two please accompany me to Forbodulon Prime for death crystals?" He asked. "Well, thank you for asking." Morty said. "Yes, we would love to." You said.

Rick was steering the ship incredibly fast toward the planet. "Uh, Rick, maybe if we go a little..." Morty began. "Faster? Good idea, Morty. It'll get us through these asteroids sooner." Rick said. Rick harshly lands the spaceship on the ground. "Geez, you're really this pissed about my mom making sure we're okay with our adventures?" You asked. "What's next, (Y/n)? What if I want either of you to jump off the Empire State Building? I have to ask?" He asked. "Why would you ever want us to-" Rick growls. "That's bedsides the point, (Y/n)! You seriously don't see how that's a slippery slope? Just shut up and-help me with these, please." Rick said. "Oh... okay." You began helping Rick with the crystals. "Why are they called death crystals? Do they kill you?" Morty asked. "You're thinking of bullets, Morty. Death crystals show you how you're gonna die." Rick said. Morty takes a look with one of the crystals. "Jesus Christ! I- die a million times?" He asked. "Your future stems from your [burps] present, which, if you're living right, keeps changing. Truth is, anyone that knows how they're definitely gonna die is either boring as hell or about to get shot." Rick said. "Duck!" You shouted, you pushed the duo down and grab them, pulling them behind the boulder.

"Who are those guys?!" You asked. "Crystal poachers. There's no lower form of life. They think the galaxy's their own personal piggy bank." Rick said. "Wait, then what are we?" Morty asked. "We're Rick, (Y/n) and Morty. You're about to witness the only real use for these crystals. They show you when the other guy's reloading. Certain death, certain death, certain death, uncertain death. And certain death, certain death, certain death." Rick then used his gun to shoot them. "Definitely gonna get shot by this guy. this is totally my fate; nothing I could possibly do; okay, now, not so much." Rick then shot the last one. "Help me gather these up." Rick said as he used the crystal. You and Morty help Rick collect the crystals, and without either you or Rick noticing, Morty secretly put one in his pocket. You just use these to win fights?" Morty asked. "I don't use them. People that spend their life avoiding death are already dead. They're also rich, and I like to spend my life with their money." Rick said. "So you sell them then." You said. "Jessica. I want to die with Jessica." Morty said. Morty began walking clumsily toward the spaceship. "What are you doing?" Rick asked.

"Are you okay Morty?" You asked. "Oh, um, c-can I drive?" Morty asked. "Why?" Rick asked. "The...feel of the open road?" Morty asked. "Alright! Who's this grandson? I like his style." Rick said. But you were slightly suspicious as you glanced at Morty with concern, which grew when Rick tossed Morty the keys and he missed. "Morty, you know outer space is up, right?" You asked in panic as he drove the spaceship like crazy. "Yeah, yeah. I'm just, uh, following....my......instincts." He said. "Will you just go up?" Rick asked, grabbing the wheel. "Stop! You're gonna make me die wrong!" Morty shouted. "Wait a minute, what? Morty, do you have a death crystal in your pocket?" You asked accusingly. "No! Maybe!" He should. "You little monster! I thought you were masturbating!" Rick shouted. "And you took that in stride?!" Morty asked. "You'd rather I address it?!" Rick shouted. "Why would I be doing it?!" He asked. "Why would you steal a death crystal?!" You shouted angrily. "I want to die old!" He shouted. "Then stop driving!" You shouted, trying to grab the wheel, causing the two of you to fight, and Rick trying to stop it. "Guys, stop! Stop fighting! Give me the wheel, guys. Goddamn it."
