OK... So this was requested on ao3, by the lovely, but was delayed so much I kinda just... Forgot about it several times.

It wasn't specified anything in the request about any ship. So I just... Picked those 2...

The theme was something akin to Steven Universe's fusion concept. So I want to have that in mind. :3

And I came up with this plot: In Twisted Wonderland, it wasn't really rare a case of fusion in between 2 people. More than anything... It was a sign that those 2 were made for each other or simply in need to act like one. So when Ace and Deuce fuse for the very first time at the mine monster incident, the 2 are way too shy and awkward to accept that they might have a connection.

Hoo boy... Now I am very tempted to make a small look for those fusions that will appear in this chapter. :3

Now! Onto the fusing!

Title: Adeuce and the long road of coming together

Deuce pov:

"Hey... Deucey... Why are you so down?" Cater-senpai asked me. It was a bit of time since me and Ace... Fused together... And it was very wierd... We both clearly didn't want that...

We first fused when we were face to face with the mine monster... Then... With Riddle's overBlot... And every time both of us were in real danger, we would fuse. Ace said that it was really wierd and both of us agreed to have some distance.

"Now that I think about it... We really didn't see Adeuce lately... Did you 2 get in an argument?" He patted my shoulder. "No... And please... Don't bring out... Him..." I mumbled.

Adeuce was how we named our fusion... It was Perfect and Grim's suggestion and we rolled with it.

Senpai exhaled. "Maybe you 2 should fuse more... It will help both of you a lot with managing it... Riddle knows it from experience..." He suggested. "No... It's wierd... And Ace said he doesn't want to do it anymore..." I protested.

Senpai exhaled. "OK ok... Just saying... But Adeuce really looks kinda incomplete... Maybe you two should resolve things together... If not... The more you'll fuse like this... The more uncomfortable and problematic it will become." he warned me, before leaving for some duties he had.

No one pov:

"I tell ya... Goldfishie really was that angry for coming over at the tea party." "Because you crashed the whole party..." Ace replied to the lazy mood Floyd. "Ye? At least me and Goldfishie can hug and be close to one another without getting out the red eel..." the taller replied. At this, Ace pressed his lips in a thin line.

"You got to admit... Adeuce is a problematic fusion... From what I heard... You can't take a steady form... You always change more to the one who takes control..." Jamil piped in. "Not as problematic as Yours with your Dormhead." "Don't bring it up... I know it... Kalim is very naive sometimes..." The Scarabia vice mused.

"But I kinda miss the crabby-Mackrell duo... You 2 aren't fun anymore..." Floyd whined. "And what do you expect me to do?" Ace replied, annoyed. "Talk it out with Deuce... Fusion isn't about who is in control... Fusion is about coming to an agreement and creating harmony in between the ones who fused originally."

Ace rolled his eyes. "Then... I guess we 2 can fuse too... Since we can agree on things at the practice..." he mocked. "Oh oh! Yea! We 2 can toottttaaaaalllly fuse together..." Floyd beamed. "What?! No! I was thinking of Jamil-sen-" "Too late!" Floyd smiled as he yanked the ginger and spun him around onto his heel. It was a sloppy dance, but in the end, nothing happened. "Aww... Bummer..." Floyd mumbled as he tossed the dizzy Ace aside. Jamil exhaled as he helped the ginger to get up.
