Yet another one!

This time it was inspired by a fanart that was gifted to me on Tumblr (still losing my mind over it like... Thank you! It's so sweet! :D).

So let's get this show on the road quick quick! :3

Well... First up! Plot: in a world where finding your soulmate would differ from person to person. Weather it was a timer only you could see, a tattoo on your skin, their voice in your head, a red string tied to your pinkie or anything else, Floyd, someone who didn't give a crap about it, only wanted to see what color his hair is.

This will not entirely follow the artwork's scene, more or so, it will follow only the concept, which was a quite interesting one, considering the dynamic and the teasing mostly came from Riddle's usual redness. :3c

Now, without further ado! Onto the colorful story!

Title: candy Eye

Floyd was and still is, a pelicular guy. And no, it's not regarding the intentional explosion caused last week in the laboratory... Please don't remind Crewel of that again...

But why was he pelicular? Maybe because while everyone was trying to figure out with who they were meant to be, Floyd remained in his place, unbothered by the lovesick people around him. Some chased strings, some waited impatiently for their timer to finish. Heck, yesterday Floyd even saw a savanaclaw student shirtless, exposing their tattoo that was meant to lead them to their soulmate. And while he understood the fact that people do need their other half to be complete, Floyd still found it dumb.

Why let fate decide for you? Fate was dumb if Floyd were to declare.

Maybe that pessimistic view was because of the black and white life he's been living?

Jade was that lucky fucker who had a string soulmate. He said the little red string attached to his pinkie will lead him, but he preffered to stay with his brother and Azul. What a liar. Floyd knew that Jade lied to his face. He found his soulmate, yet still he had the guts to pull such stunts. It was so unfair that he and Azul couldn't see or grab Jade's string to tie him up to the ceiling.

Speaking of Azul. Really that was a case Floyd was still confused about. He saw the tattoos that adored the abdomen sides of the other. They were silvery-white, far more prominent in his merman form, but almost invisible in the human form. It didn't even do him any favor that he covered his body to every inch. Azul was one of the rare cases that was absolutely horrified to meet his other half. And Floyd saw some logic into it. Like sure, if you were told that a complete stranger is supposed to live the rest of their life with you based on a tattoo you have... It would sound absolutely freaky.

"Goddammit, Floyd... I told you! Yellow glasses are on this shelf!" Azul nagged as he showed to Floyd the shelves in question. It was after closing hour at monstro lounge and Floyd had the task of putting the clean glasses on their respective shelves. Unfortunately it seemed like he mistook one of them.

Well sure he would if he only saw them in gray hues. All of the glasses were the same!

"And don't even try the 'oh but I didn't find my soulmate yet so I can't see'... There is a Y on the bottom of the glass... For what it stands?" Azul asked. "Yellow... Cut me some slack... It was only 1 glass!" Floyd grumbled.

"1?! Floyd you messed up 3 whole shelves! And they are all mixed! You knew all of them had initials on their bottoms... Yet here we are..." Azul nagged before taking a deep breath. "nevermind... I see you aren't in the mood... Go and get yourself something to entertain you... I'll do this myself..." The White haired boy breathed. "awww... Azul's so generous today..." "go before I cut this from your paycheck for this week..."
