You sat at the desk, your legs slightly kicking, it felt like an hour has passed, even if it was probablycloser to 2 minutes. "So... What time do the kids normally get here?" You asked, filling the dreaded, dead, silence.
"5 Minutes! On the table is a bunch of stuffs for you to fill out through the day!" He clapped his hands together, maybe he felt awkward too?
"Oohhhkkaaayyy.." You nodded slowly, stretching on a smile.

Going through the desk looking in the pile of papers, you went through the schedule, nothing interesting enough to comment on, except one thing, that was crossed out harshly in pen, leaving a few scratches in the paper.
Scheduled for 12:30pm. Wow, someone really got caught into their emotions.

You decided to ignore it, and flipped the page. It was a check-off, on how Sun was behaving. Probably so they know he's staying in proper working order.
Or uh, isn't turning into one of those original animatronic ccreepy pastas.

Anywho, the last few pages where health notes for the children. Like allergies, health problems, ages, and guardian names. Quick easy shit like that.

You turned your head, to find Sun cleaning up the place a bit, setting out a bunch of crafts supplies on a table, guess he probably does this every morning, lucky bastard isn't just waiting to do his job.

You let out a sigh, leaning against the desk and reading more about the kids, the papers tightly in your hand. On the back of one of the information sheets, there was something for attendance-taking. Which makes a lot of sense, you just didn't know how well you could do that bit... after all, you didn't really prude yourself on counting moving-tiny-things.

You remember reading reviews on this place bfore you applied, and you saw a few 'old staff' complaining on how 'Touchy' and 'Energetic' this animatronic is, ...somewhere.
But, you don't think there's any reason for them to get mad at this, it's kinda.. stupid.

For one, he is a daycare attendant, so being energetic is already a must-have, and kids need a lot of attention, and physical care. They feel more protected and safe that way.
...Right? Yeah.

Oh also, him being like that, is probably an act for the kids. He hasn't been either with you at all. The only time you made contact—inculding vocal—, is when he picked you off the floor. Since then you didn't talk a lot after that.
But to be fair, It's only been a couple minutes.

You hold your breath as you hear chattering from above the slide. You watch as Sun perks up, luckilyhe finished cleaning on time, and the wire zips down, catching him and quickly getting him on the balcony.

A crowd of little- fat face minions, Flooded down the slide. Splashing about the ball pit.

Thank goodness I avoided that. Kind of gross..

Then Sun made his grand appearance. Flipping open the curtains dramatically and doing a fancy spin. "HOHOHO!" This made the kids cheer, some pointing up towards him, others waving their hands in the air.

He did a fancy jump down—that would probably kill a real person, or maybe just you— And he proceedded to jump out of the pit, a couple of kids in his arms.
You held a small smile but dropped it quickly, sitting back on a chair, checking off kids names obviously by identifying them with the photos provided.

When you finished, you started to cover the page in a couple doodles.
You were only an assistant, but the job said nothing about taking care of kids. Besides, the kids barely noticed you there.
It was like you were invisible!

...
Is that a good thing?
It doesn't matter, at least the kids aren't hoarding at you. Who knows where their grabby little hands have been? Also also, you'd probably accidentally step on like 3 of them other wise.

Apparently when Sun said, 'He won't overwork you'. It seems like he really meant it; You've been sitting on the chair for 3 hours, yet you haven't been asked to-do a single task. Ooorrrr, He was avoiding you.
Makes sense,
I avoid myself all the time.

You didn't really care, you were being paid hourly for checking things off, and playing 'Brain-Out!' On your phone, interacting with Sun would've most likely been awkward anyways, with your dumbass.

You didn't at all care that you weren't making any kind of 'bond' with your co-worker, honestly, you didn't really care.

It isn't like you'll be working here in a couple months.

This is just to make some money, Before you could find a better career.

But... Making some new friends.. Might be nice. You don't really want to spend months all alone.
That'd be pretty shitty, especially sitting here like this, looking like a loser.

You heard soft knocking, on the big wooden doors beside you. That you would be sure to enter through, next time.
You looked back, making eye-contact with Sun. He tilts his head slightly. Looking at the door, then back at you, before getting dragged off by another aged fetus, who wanted to show him a crappy drawing.

Maybe it wasn't crappy.
You didn't fucking know, nor did you have the energy to care right now.

Hm. A way to tell me, 'open the door, lazy ass.' Without being within a 10 feet range, and without saying a word. Thanks.
You thought to yourself, as you made your way to the doors.

You opened the door, and saw a female on the other side, rocking back and fourth on her feet.
She was dressed rather.. Childish? Had her hair in two pigtails, which were held by short, black, ribbons. Her hair was short, she had a 'red, hazel, black.' Theme going on.
Though she dressed like a kid, and by one look, probably acts one, you could tell she was in her middle 20's.

Well, just because she looks immature, the style matches. Mmmm.. I guess I'll rate her overall looks a 7.2/10.
"Hey hey! Uhm- So- Didn't really think this through- I just wanted to say hello to the new worker! I- Work over with the glamrocks.. We ARE the only two robot assistants in the building, so I wanted to introduce myself!" She started, with a slightly unusual pep. Maybe that's just you though.
"Ah.. That's- Very nice of you. I'm Y/n. And- I also didn't know the whole gang only had one assistant...?"
"I'm Aria! Nice to meet ya! Ooohhh.. Yes! Thats because they don't really need it- That's why I'm able to be here! They currently have a performance!"

She held out a hand, when you gave it a shake, she continued to speak.
"Oh gosh.. You must get lonely in here..! How has Sun been treating you? I know he's a little.. much. Sometimes."
"Treating me? Well, wpe shared like- 3 sentences. That's it. Not much else I can say."
"Really? Damn. I didn't suspect Sun to be shy around YOU. Hm.. actually, Nevermind. You seem like the kind of person he'd enjoy."

That's funny.

"Shy? He doesn't seem 'shy' to me?"
"Well- Normally when He's nervous around someone, he talks to them a bit, and proceeds to find excuses to not talk to them anymore." She tried elaborating a bit, it kinda ticked you that she was acting like she knew so much, but anywho,
"What."
"Yeah, I know right?"
You looked over at Sun, and gave him a glance. When he saw you, he stared for a bit, then searched the room, running off to some kid.
Never thought you'd scare off a 7 foot robot, to be honest, personally, you thought you were kinda nice.

Then you look back at the girl. And she shrugged. "Yeah, he's avoiding me." You huffed.
"He didn't act like that towards me- but.. Then AGAIN, You are his assistant, And he might just be scared to chase you away- I mean- He doesn't really know anything about you, Or what you're comfortable with."
"I guess."
"KIDS- Kids are easy to read. Not grown ass adults." She crossed her arms.

You two stayed talking, For about 5 more minutes, Before she needed to get back to work. That morning you felt starved of conversation, so it was kinda nice.

You let out a sigh, I guess... this job might just make me more alone then I thought.

Lovely.
