Royan Chase was once again ready to puke his guts out.

Today was the last chance he had to help win Ravenclaw the House Cup for the first time in decades.

The match was set to start in less than an hour, and he was pacing back and forth, nervous energy spewing from his hunched form.

Jaxson and Adelaide were watching him from a bench in the Ravenclaw changing room, and they shared a wary glance when they caught their captain mumbling to himself.

"Go talk to him." The redhead whispered to her companion.

"No, you talk to him! He'll bite my head off if I go over there!" Jaxson whisper-hissed back.

"No, he won't! Go!"

"Yes, he will! You do it!"

"Blaze!"

"Harthwood!"

"He's your friend!"

"Your's too!"

"You're older!"

"You're smarter!"

Adelaide huffed and sent him a glare, which returned with a grin.

"Give up now, Addie!" Jaxson said, with a smug smirk, "I could do this all day!"

Rolling her eyes, the strawberry-blonde girl went back to observing the nervous Quidditch captain.

Standing from the bench, she slowly approached Royan.

Jaxson followed her lead and watched with an amused glint in his eyes as his best mate paced for the last time before competing in a match for his House's team.

"Royan, mate, you've got to relax," He chuckled.

The older Ravenclaw stopped moving and glanced toward the pair.

"Can't. No time to relax." Was the only reply they received before he started pacing again.

Adelaide sighed and shook her head.

"Please, Royan, everything will be fine. All you have to do is play like you always do!" She tried to reassure him, but her effort was futile as he continued frantically.

The tent flap was pulled back and Della and Alexander entered the changing rooms, pausing to send quizzical looks at the frazzled boy, before heading to their respective lockers.

"What's up with Little Boy Blue?" Alexander asked, tightening his shoulder pads.

"Don't call me that!" Royan absentmindedly barked at him.

Della arched a brow, then returned to her pre-match broom once over.

Jaxson stepped around Adelaide and grabbed hold of Royan's uniform's collar.

"Listen to me, mate." He said with a stern edge in his tone. "We are going out there, and we are going to show Gryffindor what we are made of, and you are going to kick some serious Wizard arse!"

Alexander shouted in agreement behind them.

Royan took a deep breath and met his friend's gaze. "Obliterate them. We are going to obliterate them," He said with a steely determination in his eyes that, honestly, scared the living shit out of his teammates.

"R-right! Yeah, totally!" Jaxson chuckled, taking a small step back and releasing his friend.

Adelaide was watching them nervously. Della wasn't paying attention. Alexander was ready for the bloodshed.

"Right then, team! Let's make this a Quidditch match for the record books!" Royan hollered, pumping his fists in the air.

The Ravenclaws howled in excitement, prepared to follow their leader into battle.
