It's getting late na actually kaya naisipan ko mag luto.
I bought some Oreo Cheesecake and two bottles of red wine yesterday.
I am now preparing the ingredients for the Shrimp Fettuccini Alfredo Pasta Bake. And yes i bought everything yesterday sadiyang yung cheesecake ay gawa na.
After cooking the Creamy shrimp fettuccine alfredo pasta bake, Maple glazed ham and Caesar salad. Naisipan ko munang mag tungo sa pool area para mag pahangin
"All i want for Christmas, is a peace and love" i whispered, pinipigilan ko talaga ang pag-iyak pero hindi ko na napigilan. Napahikbi ako dahil sa mga naalala ko.
"Here's my Handkerchief" i saw a hand offering some handkerchief kaya agad ko itong inangatan ng tingin at ikinagulat ko pa iyon.
"S-sir?? Ano pong ginagawa niyo dito? Akala ko nasa Baguio kayo?" Pag tatanong ko sakaniya at sa totoo lang naguguluhan ako, kung bakit ba siya nandito at wala sa Baguio.
"I know, you're very surprised why i am still here." Aniya at tumabi saakin
"O-oo sir.. so bakit po??" Pag tatanong ko muli sakaniya
"Uhh sad but may problem sa flight ko.. actually! Kanina pa ako sa airport but naisipan kong bumalik na lang" aniya habang nag pupunas ako ng mukha ko.
"Ah.. okay! Sayang, hindi mo sila kasama ngayong Christmas eve" saad ko at tila ba'y hindi ako makatingin ng ayos sakaniya dahil nga bagong iyak lang ako.
"It's fine, i talked with them already and tomorrow na lang.." he said
"T-that's good sir!" I said while still looking at the pool.
"Hmm, i've heard you sobbing Eli, is there anything wrong? I mean what happen! Christmas salubong na pero you're there crying" he said and caressing my back. "Well actually that's why i offered my handkerchief not just a simple one it was my favorite haha.. but because you're crying i'll let you use it"
"H-hala? Nakakahiya naman sana pala sir hindi mo na ipinahiram saakin lalo na't favorite niyo pa pala ito" nahihiyang saad ko.
"It's fine" he shortly said and i feel that he's being so concerned.
"T-thank you sir! I'll laundry it na lang" pasasalamat ko.
"Sure, hmm.. what happened? I mean why did you cry?" He asked me out of his curiosity
"A-ahm.. just remembering something" Palusot ko pero isa din naman yan sa rason.
"Are you sure? That, that's it?" He asked again and para bang ayaw pang maniwala saakin.
"Y-yes yun lang.." pag pupumilit ko and he fixed my hair! Kaya ikina bigla ko naman, paano kakagaling ko lang sa pag-iyak kaya naging messy na.
"I know eli, na may iba pang reason. But i can't make you pilit naman i respect you. But i just want to say that
whatever you go through you can get through that too." He gave me an advice and i'm so thankful for that.
"T-thank you so much sir... hmm i don't know what to do if you're not here i, if i am going to celebrate Christmas eve alone or should i just go and take a rest" saad ko naman
"Hmm wait, i think i knew it! Sophia and you are not in a good condition?" He asked and he got it right.
"Well you got it! Haha" i faked my laugh.
"Sorry to hear that! But i guess you'll get through that too." Aniya and he sounds so worried.
"It's fine.. at least now you know" maganda nga yung alam na niya para in case na mamaya ay lumabas si sophia at hindi ako pansinin ay maiintindihan na niya
"Y-yeah, it's going 12 na! Go and get yourself ready!" Aniya at hinatak ako papasok sa loob ng bahay.
"I'll just fix myself" paalam ko at tumango-tango lang ito saakin.
After fixing myself, i'm wearing a Christmas outfit but just a simple and warm color.
"You're looking good!" He said when i went out na.
"Thanks!" I said and smiled at him na lang. "Uhh by the way, i cooked and ordered nga pala" i told him
"Really??" He can't believe
"Yes, I ordered some bagnet, longganisa and empanadas of Ilocos. And i cooked Creamy shrimp fettuccini alftedo pasta bake, Maple Glazed Ham and prepared some Caesar salad" saad ko sakaniya at oo nga pala! He's wearing the hoodie that i gave him earlier.
"Wow!.. i mean not bad to celebrate my Christmas here" aniya at nginitian ako.
"Bagay pala sayo.." i said and smiled genuinely dahil sinuot niya agad yung ibinigay ko sakaniya.
"O-oh! This? Yeah thank you for this" he said while pointing the hoodie that i gave.
I check my phone to see the time.
"Oh! It's 11:50 na.." I look so surprised after seeing the time. "I'm going to call my sister sir"
"Sure sure.." aniya, at nag tungo na ako sa kwarto ni Sophia
"Sophia.." pag tawag ko sakaniya, paano nakasarado pa ang pintuan.
"Christmas salubong na.. let's celebrate the Christmas eve na labas ka na diyan" saad ko at sinasabayan ko nang pag katok sa pintuan.
"Ayt, hindi naman pala naka-lock" dahil nabuksan ko na ang kaniyang pintuan' ngunit, pag pasok ko'y walang katao-tao.
"Oh what happen?. Where is your sister?" He asked me
"U-uhh she's not there and i don't know where is she" saad ko at kinakabahan na ako para sa kapatid ko dahil hating gabi na.
"I'll call one of the Marcos staff to check your sister, baka nandoon lang siya.." aniya at may tinawagan sakaniyang cellphone.
Naisipan ko munang mag pahangin sa pool area ulit.
"Eli, you're here.. Merry Christmas!" I heard his voice. He greet me a merry christmas.
"Ooh.. it's 12 na pala" saad ko at inabutan niya ako ng isang glass of wine. "T-thanks! By the way, Merry Christmas to you too"
"Well, i guess we're celebrating Christmas just the two of us" he said at napakunot naman ang aking noo.
"Bakit?" Pag tatanong ko.
"Hindi daw muna uuwi ang kapatid mo, and one thing! Confirmed by my one staff nandon siya sa isang friend niya" paliwanag niya saakin. I can't believe it mas pinili pa niyang mag celebrate ng pasko sa taong hindi naman niya kaano-ano.
"A-ahm.. o-okay" mautal-utal kong saad dahil nakaramdam ako ng kalungkutan.
"Eli, i'm here don't be sad. Well i'm sad also because i can't make it with my family. But at the same time i'm happy because you're here that i'm not alone" aniya at nginitian ako
"Hmm i guess you're right, let's just go inside and eat." Pag-aya ko dahil wala naman na kaming hihintayin.
"Too many foods, but it's fine! Ohh.. i guess that pasta is a delicious one" he said and pointed the pasta that i baked earlier.
"Hehe try it!" I said and gave him a slice of it.
"Come on, and eat too" pag-aya niya kaya naman sabay na kaming kumain
"Hmm how was it??" I asked him baka mamaya hindi naman pala niya nagustuhan.
"All i can say is.. i love it!!" Pinakaba pa talaga ako! Buti naman at nagustuhan niya
"Good thing, that you love it" saad ko naman at kumain na kami super nag e-enjoy kami sa mga meal na nakahain. Kung siya nag e-enjoy sa pasta ako nama'y sa empanada.
"I know, you're still sad. But i just want you to know that i'm here.. have a Merry Christmas!" Aniya at nag ngitian kami.
