"Morning!!!" I greeted him with all of my energy.
"Huh? Why did you gave me this??" Sandro asked me, while he is strangely looking at it
"Uhh don't tell me it's our anniversary today? Shoot! Sorry i forgot"
The truth is, it's not our anniversary nor any occasion it's just a surprise gift for him.
"Hmm, why don't you open it?" I said and i smiled widely. He start unwrapping it, and as i can observe he's clueless.
"W-woah? Wait? What's this for??" Punong-puno siya ng tanong. "I-i'm not a baby anymore hahaha are you tripping?" He added and laughed quietly.
"What do you think???" I asked him. I don't know if he'll guess it right.
"Hmm, Sandra don't drink milk from a baby bottle anymore. Kaya para saan pa 'to?" He asked and i pouted. And he realized na may naka-ipit sa ilalim kaya agad niyang tinignan iyon. "O-oh.. i get it!! Are we???!"
"Ahm, y-yeah we are." I said and i nodded with matching tears of joy. He hugged me immediately. "Oopps, don't shake me haha"
"Sorry! I almost forgot, i'm so happy. Finally you are pregnant". "Finally, we are pregnant now. And finally we'll make Sandra the happiest girl ever" he added
"But, we should stay quiet first okay? Baka ma-usog you know.. 1 month and a half pa lang si baby, so ayoko muna ipabalita sa iba" I whispered.
"So we should be more extra careful, okay? Don't stress yourself and just relax. Plus don't accept any works now okay?"
"Hahaha don't panic much, my loves. Keri pa naman eh" saad ko sakaniya
"No, please? Just go and take a rest" he pleased.
"Yes, boss! Hahaha fine, i won't accept any work starting today."
"That's my girl, haha well i just don't want to risk your life and our baby's life" he said and fixed my hair.
"So, yeah. Let's go to the kitchen maybe sandra's waiting for us already" Pag-aya ko at sumang-ayon naman agad ito.
We are both shocked after seeing a mess. "Oh no" i whispered.
"S-sandra? H-ha ha.." sandro awkwardly said, paano nag kalat yung flour sa sahig.
"Hihi! I'm making some breakfast for us dad and mom" she proudly said so me and sandro stared at each other first.
"O-oh, w-wow! But next time you should ask for some help okay? Because it's delicate for you, anak" i start being worried, because what if something bad happen to her? Without us knowing.
"Sorry! I just want to cook some breakfast for the both of you, mom" she said and pouted. Mabuti na nga lang at hindi pa niya nabubuksan ang kalan.
"It's fine, no worries dear. But next time ha? Call me and i'll help you to cook" Sandro told her and we start cleaning the mess.
"I'm making some strawberry nutella waffle mom. But urgh, it messed up" she said and pouted, i wiped her left cheek.
"Well, don't be sad. Let's go and make some okay? But first! Me and dad will clean every mess okay?"
"No, love.. i'm going to clean. Just stay there okay?" He stopped me from cleaning.
"I wanna help, dad!" Sandra wants to clean and i nodded to sandro, para naman hanggang maaga pa lang ay matuto na sa mga gawain.
"S-sure, here's the wipes" he said and gave some wiped to Sandra.
What a messy morning... while they are cleaning i decided to start preparing a new ingredients to make a waffle.
As she said earlier, she's making some strawberry nutella waffle so yeah yun na lang din ang gagawin ko.
"Go, babies haha clean the floor properly" i cheered them. I don't want to have a maid kasi talaga lalo na pag kaming tatlo lang ang magkakasama, i just want our family time yung tipong kami lang ang gagawa ng breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner namin. Well slash bonding na rin yun.
"Mom! Can we request some strawberry banana milkshake hihi" Sandra asked me.
"Of course! If that's what my daughter want then i'll make some" i said.
I got busy on making our simple but yummy breakfast. While the two of them are still cleaning/wiping the floor. Ang hirap rin kasing linisin lalo na't flour, egg yung kumalat masyado nang madikit.
"Mmm! Smell so good" I heard Sandra's voice. She's pretty excited to eat.
"Hahaha don't worry, i'm almost done here" i said and smiled at her.
And then finally, i'm all done. I saw them preparing the table putting some placemats and the things we need.
"Breakfast is now ready!" I said with my kinda loud voice.
"Wifey, just relax there okay? I'll serve our breakfast" he offered. And wala naman din akong magagawa sa lalaking 'to.
"Mom? Aren't you going to work??" Sandra asked me, nasanay lang siya dahil halos palagi akong nag wo-work. Kaya bihira lang kaming mag sabay sa breakfast
"No, i'll have a long rest anak, so mommy will be by your side and we can eat breakfast together always."
"Yay!!! I'm so happy for that good news, mom. Then can we play later????"
"Mommy is not allowed to play, sweetie. But dad is here to play with you okay?" Bigla namang pag sulpot ni Sandro.
"H-huh? But why not?? She's not going to work though" she said.
"Uhh.. that's why she's not going to work, because your mom needs to rest okay? Please understand it."
"Anyways! Let's go and eat our foods na.. don't be sad, Sandra.. we can bond in the kitchen naman" saad ko at ngumiti na lang ito saakin.
While we're eating, as i can see they are enjoying the food that i made. Thank goodness i didn't failed.
"It taste so good! Hmm dad, i missed your sinigenggeng! Can you cook some? Later in lunch time"
"Sure, if that's what you want" Sandro said and smiled at his daughter.
