P.S  I'm so sorry for the late update! I had to cover a shift at work today, only just finished at 7 and had only started the chapter beforehand so I've had to quickly complete it all now along with tagging you all lol. Extra long chapter to make up for it though!! Xx

"Looks like she got you." Sevika smirked smugly as she looked down at my hands.

"What?" I asked in confusion. I followed her gaze and realised what she was talking about.

"I think it's sweet." I state, looking down at my now blue and pink nails that Jinx had done for me a few days ago. Sevika groans in disgust.

"You've been spending an awful lot of time with that girl over the past few days. More then usual anyways." She comments, lightly swirling her drink around in her hand.

"Well it's not like Silco needed me for anything so I thought I might as well keep an eye on his daughter."

"You are aware that Jinx has been asking Silco to give you time off right?"

"What?" I frown, taken off guard as I put down my drink that Chuck had given me a few moments ago. An amused expression appeared on Sevikas face from my reaction.

"You really didn't know?"

"I'll talk to her..." I sighed.

"I don't know how you tolerate her."

I roll my eyes. She was always no negative when it came to Jinx.

"Yes, I'm very aware of how much you hate her. You say the same thing every time we hang out. She's actually really good company." I defend her as a smile came into my lips.

"Don't be going soft on me kid."

"I'm not going soft." I scoff. Sevika raises a brow at me.
