Wanted to get this out here. Texas is actually really smart.
Like, canonically. And not just smart but also polite? Like when there's a debate he'll often give actual good arguments were it not for the fact that what he is arguing for is morally reprehensible. The episode about Critical Race Theory, he actually gives good arguments and manages to call California out himself.
Also, in the CPAC episode, when California brings up the idea of an LPAC and Florida messes it up instead of continuing to get what an LPAC is wrong he is totally on the uptake and makes fun of him.
So like, smart Texas rights. He may be a dumbass who follows his politicians and a homophobic gay but he can actually hold a debate. Turns out this cowboy actually read a book or two.
