Hawker's POV
"We have to get you out."
Elfin said.
"Ok." Quartz agreed. "I don't like it though. It's against the law."
"How?" Hawker asked. "Are there any secret ways out?"
"Not that I know of." Quartz said.
"Did you hear that?" Pine asked. His ears were tipped up, and he was staring at the ceiling.
"No..." hawker said.
"I don't hear anything." Elfin said.
"I do. I sounds like wingbeats. But these are heavy-er, like they are caring something." Quartz said. She unfolded her wings.
And the city burst into flames.
"WHAT?!" Shrieked Quartz.
"WHATS HAPPENING?"
"I don't know." Pine said, his voice tense.
Leafwings don't like fire. Or to much heat, I bet. Hawker thought.
"We have to get everyone out of here!" He said.
Quartz shook her head. "We don't."
They all stared at her.
"What?!" All three dragons said.
"We thought this day would come. CavernWings have escape tunnels and routes. We've been expecting an attack from the crystallinewings for a while."
Quartz informed them. "Everyone knows where to go and what to do. We still need to get the dragons out though."
"Ok." Elfin and Pine say in unison.
"Follow me." Quartz turned and ran down a street.
A small dragonet was crying in the corner of two houses. Elfin scooped them up in her wings, and whispers something to the dragonet along the lines of "don't worry, you're going to be ok."
