Tzuyu's POV
at CT Agency
I walked into the front door which was quickly greeted by the guards, I gave them a quick smile and took the elevator to my office. I stopped at the door when I heard mumbling. I quickly entered.
"oh Tzuyu-ya you're back" Chaeyoung said
"Oh it's you guys. Why are you guys here at this hour?" I sighed in relief, I loosen my bow tie and grab some glass cups and a bottle of bourbon.
"Tzuyu, we got some news" Jeongyeon said, I placed a glass for each one of us and pour the liquor.
"What is it? go ahead" I lean back on the couch and took a sip of my drink
"The night Jill died, we saved a girl remember?" Chaeyoung asked
"Yeah? what about it?" I asked confusingly
"well........she was Sana." Chaeyoung said, I am dumbfounded.
"are you sure? how do you know that?" I asked
"I got a call earlier from our detective, apparently they found out that night Mark order hitmen to take out Jill if he didn't successfully captured Sana and get rid of Jill. But we saved her and he failed so he order to execute Jill out of anger." Chaeyoung explained. I'm baffled.
"S-so us saved an innocent life caused Jill to die?" I stutter, my anger is rising, my blood is boiling tremendously. I gripped onto my glass.
"mhm and....." Jeongyeon hesitated
"and what?" I asked enraged
"They found her body in the river...beaten up... she was holding this necklace when she passed" Jeongyeon handed me the necklace. It's the infinity necklace I gave Jill on her 18th birthday.
*Flashback*
"Happy 18th Birthday Jillian!" I mess with Jill's hair and gave her a hug
"YAHHH OPPA, don't mess up my hair. It took me hours to get this done" Jill said irritatedly trying to fix her hair.
"Tsk girls" I rolled my eyes
"anyways since you're so old now, I got you a small gift" I teased handing Jill the small gift box
"yah I'm not that old" Jill glared at me, I laughed
"open it up" I smiled, Jill opened the box and it was a necklace with an infinity pendant.
'WOAHHH OPPA IT'S BEAUTIFUL" Jill cheered
"do you like it?" I asked
"YES its so pretty, thank you oppa! I'm always going to wear it knowing you will always be by my side." Jill hugged me
"this pendant means I will always be with you and love you for infinity" I smiled hugging Jill back.
"I love it oppa, I love you" Jill hug me tighter
"I love you too lil kid" I patted Jill back
*End of flashback*
"I'm going to make that bastard died the same way he did to her" I said raging while griping onto the necklace
"We all will make sure he will" Jeongyeon gripped onto my shoulder.
"we found some more evidences, we tracked back to who those hitmen were and what exact time he command them to carry out the mission." Jeongyeon continued
"Just wait a little more and we will catch this man" Dahyun patted my back, I nodded.
After 10 minutes of me trying to calm down, I finally managed to compose myself
