BIRDIE POTTER was extremely unaware of the time, the day or the weather right now, she's been sitting here in this room for about two days, trying to figure out different ways to make her best friend open her damn eyes even though it's been extremely hard to keep hers open long enough, she remembers how it all happened - just as Belladonna was leaving, she'd grabbed her wand and with a flick of it she'd sent Lorelei flying down, Sam followed shortly after - Sam's injuries weren't nearly as bad, if not none at all, all the damage done with him was because he'd hit his head too hard on the leg of the couch.

It felt like some twisted joke, Belladonna had sat there with them, laughed at the movie like it was nothing, that she was doing nothing wrong, and then just immediately after there was a switch in her demeanor as she sent out the curses.

Birdie felt a hand on her shoulder, she looked up to see Fred there, he had coffee in his hand along with a muffin, "You need to eat," he said pulling up a seat beside her, "Otherwise she might get into another coma after waking up because of the scare you give her..."

Birdie smacked his arm away from her, a hint of smile playing on her lips as she took the coffee from him, "How's George?" she asked, the other brother hasn't been doing so well either, George had somehow managed to blame himself for it all - he'd egged this stupid idea on anyway, hadn't he? Birdie had suggested and George had agreed like an idiot, wanting to give the surprise news to Lorelei, even when the curse hit her, he was right there - he should've done something, pulled her away, pushed her - stepped in front of her, anything.

"He's not doing so well...like you," Fred said with a small voice, "Refuses to see her like this, and to take care of himself - it's getting really weird, I saw him just staring at a wall for about an hour yesterday..."

"What's so weird about that? Doesn't everyone do it?"

"No, love, no..."

"Oh..."

Birdie and Fred were interrupted as Sirene walked in, a fresh set of flowers in her hand along with another card - people in the department insisted on sending Lorelei cards everyday, Sirene herself was pretty mad at both her nieces, though, both of them had made nothing but idiotic moves the past few months, and don't even get her started on Lorelei, she couldn't stop - she'd handed her the case thinking she would keep it professional, just gather information like the plan was, and not invite the bloody deatheater to eat with her.

But, as it turns out, it's pretty hard to stay mad at your niece when she's been laying on a hospital unconscious for about two days now. Sirene sighed as she set the flowers on the desk which now had no space left, she comes in to check in every other hour, Andrew is always there along with Birdie and even Sirius was allowed to visit with the help of polyjuice potion, but his demands to let him stay with his daughter fell on deaf ears.

"Birdie, don't forget to meet me after the Order meeting tonight, we have possible areas for your relocation," said Sirene, her eyes were tired and so was she - Birdie could tell she needed a break, but she also knew her aunt would rather die than admit she did, not wanting to hand these responsibilities to other people.

Birdie nodded and then Fred interjected, "Relocation?" he asked, his brows furrowed.

"Well, her apartment's been compromised, we all know how," Sirene said with a sharp look towards the two of them, "She's going to need a new place to live with strong charms and spells to disguise it...there are a few places in mind right now, but nothing concrete yet."

"I...I might have something," Fred said, he looked at Birdie, "This is going to be really awkward, so just bear with me, and if you don't want to - pretend I never asked you this, but Birdie do you want to move in with me?" Birdie's mouth was hung open, she looked between her aunt and then her boyfriend, her eyes comically wide.

"I- what?" she asked, her tone dripping with disbelief as she stared at the boy in front of her - Fred Weasley had come a long way, from the sixth year who couldn't even commit to a relationship to now an adult who was asking his girlfriend to move in with him, and it was all because of Birdie Potter, sure, they haven't had the easiest of the relationships, but that doesn't mean it's not beautiful, "Aunt Si?"

"I-" Sirene pinched the bridge of her nose, she needed to ask James first, he would quite literally find her and bury her six feet under if he found out she let his daughter live with a boy without his permission, as much as she doesn't want to risk it - a visit is long overdue, perhaps not with Birdie, she doesn't believe she's been careful enough, and Sirene hates being the one to do this, but she doesn't trust any of the kids with any information right at this moment, perhaps they were a little too much like them, reckless little balls of energy, "I need a day, ok? Give me a day, I'll get the answer to you by tonight, but before then no promises, don't get your hopes up."

Sirene walked out of the door and to Andrew who seemed to sense how tense she was, pulling her into his side and cracking a joke which brought a small smile to her face - even after years of change and pain and grief, if there was one thing that hasn't changed and will never - it's their relationship.

"Can't believe she even said she'd think about it," said Fred before Birdie punched his arm, "Ow! Can you not? This is the third time you've hit me today! This is abuse!"

"How could you just spring that on me like that?" Birdie said, "You could've given me a warning so I didn't sit here like a fucking gaping fish, staring at you and my aunt!"

"A cute gaping fish!"

"Shut up, Firehead!"

"Shut up, Firehead!"
