She's getting married! Margret is getting married!

She told me a while ago of this soldier boy who happened to be in Jame's 107th, but would never tell me his name. Because of this I just assumed that the relationship would not go far, but here she is, about to get married. I don't even think they have known each other for very long!

She's been telling me that the two of them have thought about having a very small, private ceremony, or even just eloping. I do not know why the thought of eloping is out there, but they seem to not want the news of their engagement to be too public.

Howard and I have never met the man, so I do not have much to say about him. Howard has told me how he has tried to send a private detective after her, trying to figure out who this mystery man is, but she always seems to lose his tail.

Part of me is wondering if I will be invited to the wedding and meet this mystery man.

You think I would one day at least, as I will outlive them all. I don't like thinking of that, but it's true.

I just hope it will be a long while till I lose more of my friends.
