"Did you know?" Anthony's anxious voice came from the other end of my telephone.
"Know what, Anthony? You must be more specific than that." I rolled my eyes.
"A lot of things. For starters, did you know dad was one of the founders of SHIELD?"
"Of course I did. I was another founder myself."
"What?!" I held the phone away from my ear at his shout, wincing a bit.
"I thought Howard or I mentioned this to you long ago. And why are you bringing this up now?"
"Fury just dropped off a crate for Avery and me to go through. Mentioned how you two were a part of SHIELD."
"Okay, so why the call?"
"I- why are you so nonchalant about all of this? Do you still work for SHIELD?"
"Of course I do. I may not be the director or anything like Nickolas, but I am the "top dog", as you Midgardians so put it, of SHIELD. I know everything going on there. Everything."
"...well that's a bit cryptic."
"And I will not be going into detail," I smirked.
