Manik's POV

We are going back to Surat tomorrow, even if I have to take her there by kidnapping her.

I looked at the time and started my stopwatch. I went after him but saw that he had already gone to her room and the door was shut.

How can he shut the door?

It was not acceptable to me. I must go in and tell him to keep the door open. But just before I was about to knock on the door I realise that if I knock right now he would say that he want the challenge and would tell everyone.

I would not let him spend an extra second with Roshni.

So I was standing in front of her door with my eye on the stopwatch.

Why the hell did I accept his challenge?

And even if I did, I should have told him to go to the lawn or living room... I was going mad but I controlled myself.

Someone patted my shoulder, I turned to see Mahi standing there.

She raised her eyebrow and asked, "  Bhai!! What are you doing here standing here in front of Roshni's room with a stopwatch in your hand?? " She asked.

" Nothing!! " I shrugged.

" It is definitely something, I have never seen you behave like that, I am actually worried about you. Exactly, what are you doing?  Please, tell me. " She said.

" Mahi, don't you have anything to do, is everyone in absolutely free in Delhi today? "  I asked with annoyance.

"  What does that mean, Bhai? " she asked.

" You just told Ron that you were busy, please go and do your work and leave me alone,"  I said concentrating on the stopwatch.

" I said that because I was avoiding, spending time with him. "  She said.

" Why, did he say something? Tell me, I will beat him? "  I was getting angry all of a sudden.

" No!! But I don't like flirt men like him. But what are you doing here??  Do you want to talk to Roshni? Let me call her, why are you standing here like that? " She said. I was relieved a bit more.

" Great!! Now leave me alone. " I said but instead of going away, she called a number on the phone.

Who was she calling??

" Hello, Bhai, Manik Bhai is not feeling very well, he is behaving differently, and has been doing weird things since morning, please come back home fast, I am getting scared to see him like this. Come and check his vitals. " She said to Mihir.

" What nonsense?? Give that phone to me!! Mihir, I am absolutely fine. Do whatever you are doing. As it is everyone is getting involved in my life, I think everyone is free,  don't you dare come home before your usual time.  Go check your patients there, I am absolutely fine. " I said and disconnected the call.

" Bhai, shall I get you something??"

" Yes, make anything that takes at least an hour to make. Make it and bring it for me. Don't disturb me till then. " I said and she looked at me weirdly.

" I am going but sending mom and aunty. You are not well. " She said.

" No, Mahi!! My sweetie pie, I am fine. Just leave me alone. " I said and she left.

I looked at the stopwatch. It was 9 minutes and 45 seconds.

Just 15 seconds.... 10 seconds...
