"I love you too"
I quickly opened my eyes and Kol's warm ones were staring down at me with admiration. She smiled and leaned down closer to my face.
"Close your eyes" she whispered and I saw her pull her hand back to punch me. I quickly closed my eyes and I felt the ground right next to my head being shattered over and over again. I laid there with my heart beating fast, my body sweating hard and my eyes squeezed shut.
"Wait for my signal, okay? your gun is on your left" she said in a low whisper, I felt her weight get off me and I let out a quiet sigh.
"Good pet, I'll reward you later" I heard that bitch say with a smug tone, all I wanted was to rip her apart. I was waiting for the signal just like Kol told me, my eyes were closed and I was starting to feel inpatient but I had to do as she said so I won't cause a problem.
"Dispose of the body" Tiara ordered, I discreetly moved my left hand trying to get to my gun. I felt the metal object on the tip of my fingers, when I finally got a good grip on the gun I stayed in that position without making another move.
"Val! Now!" I heard Kol yell, I quickly got up with my gun in my hand pointed towards Tiara who was surprised and confused at the same time. Kol had her arm wrapped around the bitch with the other hand over her mouth to keep her from speaking.
"Val, I need you to trust me okay..." Kol said while looking at me with a worried look. I started hearing the sound of running coming our way, the end of the hallway where we stood was soon closed by guards.
"Shoot and get down" Kol mouthed and I nodded my head, I knew she meant I had to wait for her signal again because Tiara was literary against her and if I shoot now I'll end up hitting Kol as well.
She turned around facing the guards who haven't done anything yet, because she had a good grip on their boss. Unexpectedly, for me and for everyone in the hallway, Kol grabbed Tiara by the front of her shirt and in a blink of an eye and threw her up and towards me, I quickly aimed my gun at the redhead and shot multiple bullets at her and watched her body drop in front of me with a loud thud.
What in the fuckin hulk did I just witness?
"Down!" Kol yelled, she ran towards the guards while guarding her head with her metal arm, I dropped down on my stomach covering my head and watched as the guards shot at her but that didn't slow her down, she just kept slamming and punching anyone that stood in her way.
When everything calmed down, I stood up and ran to Kol who was covered in blood and a bullet wound on her shoulder. Surprisingly she looked fine, which honestly made wonder what did that psycho inject her with.
"I'm okay, it doesn't hurt at all" she whispered when she felt my fingers next to the bullet wound on her back.
I turned her to face me but she was just looking down at her feet, her eyes were filled with tears as if she was hiding something or she wanted to say something but couldn't.
"Kol? What is it?" I whispered brushing my fingers on her cheek, she took a deep breath and looked at me.
"She was injecting me, everyday, with this weird liquid, that had her DNA...now that she's dead. I won't survive for long because she won't provide me with the injections" She leaned her head down on my shoulder and I wrapped my arms around her, my heart was beating as fast as it could and my thoughts were scattered everywhere, and I didn't really know what to say or what to do.
"I love you Valentina, I really do...I just want you to know that" She whispered against my shoulder, her sad voice wasn't making me feel any better.
"We're going to find a way, Kol. I promise, you'll be okay" I didn't know what I was promising her or if I can keep my promise but all I wanted was for this nightmare to be over, to go home with her...
She pulled away and I watched her eyes visibly widen before I can react, she flipped me around and covered me with her body. Next thing I heard was the sound of multiple gun shots.
"You good?" I heard a voice say and I looked behind me at Sasha who had a worried look on her face. Her gun was still pointed at Tiara's body, who was surely dead now. I wanted to torture her and make her regret what she's done but I didn't have time or a way to do so. What a shame.
"Val?" I soft whisper coming from Kol made me turn to look at her, she was holding her stomach with a surprised and painful expression.
"It...it hurts?" She said, more like asked, before dropping against me. Sasha rushed to my side and helped me lay Kol carefully on the ground.
"Kol?! No stay with me please...stay with me" My eyes blurred with tears as I tried to stop the bleeding, she just laid there slowly blinking at the ceiling and taking very small breaths.
"You're gonna be okay..." I cried out while shakily kissing her forehead, I looked at Sasha who just gave me a look of pity.
"No! She's fine Sasha! She's gonna be fine!" I yelled at her, she looked down at Kol. I quickly whipped my tears with my sleeves.
"Help me pick her up, and call Sabine..." I ordered in a harsh tone. As we walked through the sea of bodies I noticed a fat and balding one and I couldn't help but kick Igor's nasty dead body.
"Asshole..." I mumbled, we rushed out of the building and into our van. I sat in the back with Kol who had her eyes closed but I still had a heartbeat. I was putting pressure on the wound on her stomach trying to stop it from bleeding.
"I've been looking for you everywhere baby..." I laid my forehead down on her arm,
"You can't leave now that I found you, you can't leave me Kol, I won't allow you" I knew she couldn't hear me but I just wanted to talk to her, maybe she'll wake up, or maybe I'll wake up from this dream that brought me nothing but misery and pain.
"I don't think she'll make it to the house Val, it's 15 minutes away." I don't know how long we've been driving but every minute I check Kol's pulse and every moment it decreases.
"Sasha I'll pay the speeding ticket just please...get us there" I begged not even looking at her, I felt the van shake at the speed Sasha was driving at.
"If I drive over a speed bump....we're both gonna meet Kol" she yelled from the driver's seat while laughing her ass off,
"That's not funny!" I yelled back, I sighed and just focused on Kol.
A dozen minutes later or less, we were at the mansion. We rushed to the door with an unconscious Kol in both our arms, Sabine who I thought already got used to this was still looking very worried.
"What the fuck??" She yelled at me and Sasha while pointing at Kol. We took her to the infirmary Sasha had in her basement and laid her on the bed there.
"Help her please, I'll explain later" Sasha said kissing Sabine's head then went to get all the utilities Sabine was going to need.
"I am not god! She looks like she's was in war!" Sabine yelled, she sounded more panicked than mad which I understand but right now I didn't give a damn about what she felt all I need is for her to help Kol.
"Just fuckin help her! Goddamn it!" I yelled, Sasha put the medical stuff on the table and walked towards me, she grabbed my wrist and pulled me out of the room.
"Valentina, I'mma need you to stay right here until Sabine is done. You can't be yelling at her when she's trying to help" Sasha said in the most calm voice she could mutter, I looked between her and the closed door and yanked my hand away, I made my way to the living room to wait, hoping that maybe Sabine was actually god...

Anyways! Here's a chapter. Also, the book is almost over but I already have a new idea BUT I do have finals still, so maybe after that I'll start with the new book.
