Dayvon was laid in the middle of his California King bed, asleep, with his two favorite people. He had his son laid on his chest and Alexus was laid with her head on his chest, wrapped in one of his arms.
Daylen started whining, and Von woke up immediately. He tried to remove his arm from around Alexus as gently as possible. He stood up with him and bounced him gently.
"Come on lil folks. Don't wake up mama," he tried to quiet him, "You know its early as hell right."
It seemed like Daylen wasn't having it.
"I'm already up," Alexus groaned sleepily, "Bring him over here."
"Go back to sleep Lexxi," he waved her off.
"I think he's hungry so bring him here," she said more firmly. Dayvon got back into the bed and gave her Daylen.
She took her boob out of her shirt and put him close it so he could latch on. Von watched her wince a little.
"Yo breast still tender," he asked.
"Yeah, the doctor said it could take up to a year," she answered.
"You want to try pumping again," he tilted his head to the side.
"Hell no. It hurts worse than this. Can we talk about something else please?"
