Prologue

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...

Anakin and Mary Skywalker were born in 41 BBY on an unknown world and were raised on Tatooine by the age of 3. Their mother, the slave, Shmi Skywalker, claimed that they were conceived without a carnal act, and did not understand how it could have happened. They were the opposite of each other but despite everything and everyone, their brotherly love was stronger than anything. Anakin was older than her by a few minutes and a few inches taller than her and that made him the big and protective brother he was. He had blond hair and blue eyes and Mary had dark brown hair and brown eyes, like her mother. They and their mother became slaves to Gardulla the Hutt until, years later, she lost them to the Toydoriano Watto in a Podracing bet. When in 32 BBY the Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and Padmé Amidala met them, the twins were 9-year-old, able to repair anything, to the point that they had built their own pod and protocol droid named C-3PO and exhibited exceptional piloting skills. After that miraculous encounter their lives changed drastically...
