Renamon managed to find them, and she and Ruki, managed to trigger their Matrix Evolution, to Sakuyamon, and defeated GigaSeadramon. The Tamers and their Digimon ended up reuniting. However, that didn't end there, as Sonic sent an urgent call to Shadow.

We're at the Kamishiro Enterprises Server, where Kishibe, Yuuko and three more members of the enterprises were. It seems that Kishibe had a very special announcement to make.

This announcement that Kishibe made is what caught Sonic's attention, right after he and Sayo took out Lilithmon. The two of them were at the agency, with Kyoko and Matayoshi, with the rest of the DigiDestinated and Mirei on a call from the Digilab.
Kishibe on TV: Some rotten underlings did it on their own, with no permission. And even though it was years ago, it was certenly a wrong decision, and I won't let it pass!
Sonic: I can't believe this!
Kishibe on TV: With~ that~ said~! Everyone who was even slightly involved with this acquisition, from presidents to delivery boys... I fired them all, each and everyone of them!
