y/n pov:
i've been friends with the triplets for ages. since we were in middle school. now we're in our senior year. the thing is, during the summer me and chris have become closer. we started to do a-lot more things that were just us two. "u coming to the beach" chris said coming in nicks room. "yeah obviously" i say. "alr" he said walking away. only nick knew that i like chris. "god idk what u see in him" nick says disgusted. "huh?" i say. "oh shut up yk what i mean he says. "shut up he's just my best friend" i say. "aww the best has to be so announced" nick says. "is my lil nicky jealous" i say poking him. "stop" he says sternly. i laugh, " guys we're all in the car cmon" matt says going back downstairs. "alr let's go" i say.

in the car i'm sat next to madi and nick. matt infront with chris. a few more guys in the back. i wasn't to familiar with them but they knew the triplets so it was fine. "y/n can u pass me the charger plz" chris said looking back. we made eye contact, i felt butterflies erupt. "yeah sure" i say. god all he did was ask for a charger. i pass him it. "thank u" he says sweetly. "wow u don't do that to me" matt says. "stfu" chris says.

-at beach-
"can we go to the smoothie bar" i asked. "yeah sure i'll go with u" chris says. i see nick eye him. "okay" i smiled.  "hey can we come too" this guy said from behind. "sure bro" chris says. we walk by and chris grabs my hand while we crossed the street.

we were in line talking and stuff. "i'll be back, imma head to the bathroom real quick" i say. chris nodded and waited in line still.
i walked over to the bathroom. after i finished i fixed myself up and headed out. i was looking down on my phone for a sec until i felt someone grab me. they pushed me against the wall making me drop my phone. "what the fuck" i say looking up. it was one of the guys that came with us to the beach. "um, sorry i don't-" i say. he covers my mouth and i look at him in the eyes. can he not see the fear in my eyes. he held my wrist tightly. "please let go" i mumbled. so many thoughts were going through my mine. what did he want to do with me. "GET THE FUCK OFF HER" chris said pushing him off me.

"chirs-" i said in shock. i look down at wrist, red. "y/n are u okay, i'm sorry i should've came" he said holding me close to his chest as he hugged me. "i-" i say still shocked. "where's the guy" i asked. "probably went back with the group, i'm sorry" he said. i looked up at him, making eye contact with him. he had me in his arms. i saw as his pupils widened as he looked into my eyes. his lips parted a little. "chris- the smoothies" i say giggling. "shit i dropped them in fear" he said letting go of me. "it's fine let's just head back" i say. "no no i'll buy u one then we will" he said. i nodded.

we got back to the group who was in the water. "thank u again" i say sipping my drink. "no problem i'm always here for u, i should t have left u idk what that guys problem was" he said. "imma head in the water, u coming" he said smirking. "mm idk i say settinf my drink down. "oh shit look they spilled there food" he said. i looked where he pointed. and before i knew it he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder. "CHRIS WHAT-" i sag giggling  as we ran to the water. he basically threw me in. (NOT AGGRESSIVELY💀) "CHRIS OMG" i said splashing water on him.

"CHICKEN FIGHTT" nick yelled out. he has madi on his shoulders and chris looked at me. "no way" i say. "cmon y/n pleaseee" he said. i looked at him and rolled my eyes swimming towards him. i got on his shoulders and me and madi went against eachother. i kept getting an uneasy feeling every-time that guy looked at me. 
"WE WONN" chris yelled puttinf his hands up which made me fall backwards. i swam back up and felt chris pull me back up into his arms. i opened my eyes not realizing how close we were to each-other.
