(if some details are off or anything i apologize, im no expert in the topic of anemia, just going of google🤍)

matt pov:
i was in the kitchen with my brothers helping make breakfast. y/n was sleeping in my room. "hey y/n doing alright?" nick asked flipping the pancake. "yeah she's just sleeping in" i said. i felt a pit in my stomach saying that. it's just anxiety it's okay. "make sure to leave y/n some" i said sitting down drinking coffee. "ofc idiot i won't let her starve" nick sassed making us laugh. we were talking, video ideas and all sorts. "so i think we should put up a poll la-" chris paused. "was that a thud?" nick asked. i got up and sprinted to my room. i see y/n passed on the floor. "shit" i said. i heard the other twos footsteps once i spoke out-loud. i picked her up placing her back on the bed.

"nick bring me some water" i said. i sat next her waiting for her to wake up, it never took long.
as long as i've been dating y/n we haven't rlly gotten use to  her anemia. but we do know what to do at times. i saw her eyes flutter open. "hey" i spoke softly placing my hand on her cheek. "u okay" i said. she nodded sitting up slowly. "did i faint?" she asked. i nodded. "yeah u did, here drink some water" i said handing her the cup. she drank some and scrunched her eyes. "what, what's wrong" i asked. "no, no nothing it's okay just feeling really dizzy rn" she said. "turn the lights off chris" i said. chris did so. "will leave u two to it, if u need anything we're in the living room" nick said.

y/n pov:
nick and chris smiled softly at me leaving the room. "u guys are so patient w me, i appreciate it a lot" i said kissing his cheek. matt smiled, a small blush appearing on him. "i think i'm alright, im going to get some breakfast" i say standing up. instantly a wave of nausea hit i looked around feeling dizzy. i felt two hands on my sides instantly. "u okay" i heard faintly as my hearing came back in. "yeah, yeah got up to fast" i said.  i got through breakfast easy. i went along to the bathroom and started to feel dizzy once again. "matt" i called out. i heard footsteps approaching as my vision became blurry. i tried to sit myself down on the toilet seat it all went black.

i woke up feeling to arms around me caressing my hair. "fuck, again." i said putting a hand to my forehead. "bad day today" matt said looking down at me. "yeah.." i said. "let's lay down, we can have a movie day today" he said. i sat up slowly. "don't u have a meeting today?" i said. "yeah but nick n chris can go i'll stay here with u today" he said bringing me into a soft kiss. "u don't have to" i said cupping his cheeks. "i don't but i want to" i spoke kissing me again. "thank u" i said.

we laid in bed most of the day. i rested my head on his chest while we watch movies. my eyes grew tired and i focused on his heart beat slowly falling asleep. "u sleepy?" matt asked looking down at me. i nodded lazily looking up at him. "take a nap i'll be here" he said kissing my forehead. i dug my face into his neck kissing it getting comfortable. "i love u" i said. "i love u" he said resting his  on mine.
