The Unexplained Transformation

𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑅𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑟 𝑆𝑡𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝑃𝑎𝑐𝑘

I rolled over in bed and found Alexis still asleep next to me, also still naked and the memory of our shower, mating and multiple rounds in the bedroom came flooding back. She let out a soft sigh as her body relaxed into my arms and a smile smile flickered over her lips.
"I love you" she murmured as she snuggled closer
"I love you too" I smiled, returning her cuddles.
"I think we should probably make an appearance downstairs and apologise for the noise" she giggled
"So you would rather have thirty odd people downstairs than one parent sound asleep. Got it" I teased with a wink
"You're an ass" she laughed
"You love it"
"I do" she smiled and kissed me softly
We laid together for a little while longer before rolling out of bed and getting dressed before heading downstairs.
"Good morning, Alpha" someone said as we walked passed
"Hello Luna" she smiled as Alexis came from behind me
"Good morning" I laughed and look at Alexis who's face showed her shock
"So I understand some of you may be confused, your Alpha and Luna included, but I think I may be able to explain some things" A woman said as she walked over to us and lead us outside.
"What's going on?" Asked Alexis as she closed the door
"Alpha Luka, my name is Siv. I work closely with the High Council and came here to meet with you after a chat with your Luna when she came to see us. Alexis and Conor came to the council to inform and warn them about an attack two Alpha's were planning. I'm here to answer any questions and also solve your unexplained transformation" she smiled
"My what?" I asked
"You were never turned by Alexis. You were born a werewolf though he never came forward until his mate woke him. Alexis saved your life and woke your inner wolf at the same time. I've been going through notes with Bek and Atla all night trying to figure out how you became to show so many abilities when usually there can only be one per wolf. I think you just may have a very special ability. Think of it as like a copy and paste, when you get near someone you are able to copy what they can do. For instance, Alexis has the power of speed, beyond what we have seen in many moons, but you matched her. Your father, Alpha Dominic, he has an ability of strength, yet you matched his strength in every fight you had with him. I've also been told you are able to tap into another pack's mind link, something we have never seen before" she paced as she spoke and my brain ran in circles trying to follow her words
"I feel there may be some downsides we are yet to discover to this power however, the moon goddess doesn't allow these abilities without some consequences" she added
"But how does that make me an alpha? Did I just steal it or something?" I worried, thinking about my father and uncle. Though it wouldn't be the end of the world if they were no longer alphas
"No, no, I believe you are a true Alpha" she smiled as she stopped pacing
"A true alpha?" I questioned as Alexis gasped
"Yes. Your soul is one of an alpha. You deserved the title so much so, that the moon goddess granted it to you"
"But I don't even have a pack or anything"
"Yes you do Luka, you have your Luna, you have your Beta, you even have your Delta. And many people in there that now look to you as their leader"
"Beta and Delta?" Alexis asked
"Conor and Ryan" Siv smiled again
"I don't know how to be an Alpha" I confessed
"You already showed that you do last night when you came through that door. You have been granted the title of Alpha by the goddess herself, and through the power of the council I grant you the River Stone pack. If you have any more questions I do encourage you to ask them, but I will leave you two alone now" she bowed her head and headed back inside, leave Alexis and I alone.
"You're an Alpha of a whole new pack" Alexis breathed
"You're a Luna, not a rogue" I laughed
"Did she say the River Stone pack? That's so cool!" I added as Alexis started laughing
"This is wild"
As we laughed the door opened and Conor came out with Ryan not far behind him.
"So you're an Alpha? Just like that?" Conor asked, kicking a rock
"How is that fair? If I didn't go to the council I would have done the same thing" he grumbled
"Shut up, Beta" Alexis teased
"What did you call me?" He growled
"Conor, you are my Beta, apparently"
"Yeah and Alexis is a Luna" he laughed
"I am" she glared her golden eyes at him and he dropped the stick he had been playing with
"Luna" he breathed as he dropped his head in a small bow
"Stop grovelling" she laughed
"This is weird, I feel like I should leave" Ryan said quietly
"You're more than welcome to stay with us Ryan. You've already done so much for this pack and we would hate to loose you" Alexis said as she smiled gently at him
"You're kind, but I hope you don't mean I'm part of the pack. I'm not a werewolf" he replied
"You don't need to be a werewolf to be part of our pack" I smiled
"Welcome, to the River Stone pack" I smiled before we all burst into laughter.
