Cosette wasn't there when George woke back up but figured she wasn't far. If he listened close he could hear the sound of her banging around in the kitchen. Fred was still sleeping, and he wondered if he had even seen her sneak in, the thought made him smile. She started to tell him about her argument with her mother but the bed wasn't quite big enough for her to yell with her hands and not fall off. He would defiantly have to put a bigger bed in their room.

He was just about to doze back off again when a crash came from downstairs, and before he even knew it he was there and stopping Cosette from picking up the shattered teacup pieces with her bare hands. The cup had been obliterated to near ashes and between her and the smashed teacup stood Bill, red in the face and his hands at his side.

George handed her the repaired teacup and she put it away in the cabinet, slamming the door so hard that it bounced, and stormed out of the room. He couldn't help but laugh a little at Bill's still red-in-the-face appearance.

"First off, I did warn you. Second, she's not mad at you," He said, giving him a pat on the back. "She's mad at her mom."

"It didn't go well?" Aruther asked surprised from behind his copy of The Dailey Prophet. George made a gesture towards the still-open cabinet door as if that were saying enough. He didn't have the details yet but he was going to get them.

"I'm gonna take her out for breakfast, would anyone like anything?"

The second George took her hand and appriated them away she felt her stink mood melt away. He had taken her to her favorite cafe that was in the nearby wizarding town near Grimuled place. She swore they sold the best croissants in the world, so he figured it would help cheer her up.  The moment they sat down her hands were flying at a pace that he could barely understand, catching every over word until they brought the food he had ordered to the table.

She told her parents outright and instead of being happy for her, her mother immediately demanded that they bring George over and break her curse. When she asked her mom to slow down and that she wanted to talk about it first, she went into a tangent about how they couldn't talk about it because she couldn't even speak, and how she hadn't heard her daughters voice in years and how if she didn't get her hearing back right then than she was selfish for putting her mother through that and a terrible daughter.

She didn't know what to say to her after that, all she could do was stare at her mother and absorb the hateful things that had come from her mouth. She didn't have to say anything though, because Sirius had plenty to say for her. He guided her by the shoulder out of the room, telling her jokingly to cover her ears because it was about to get loud, and closed the door behind him.

"So, your mom made it about her and that's why you don't want to do it now?" He asked her, just to make sure that he understood. She nodded, and crossed her arms defiantly, and stared out the window.

"What do you think?" She asked him.

"Should I move all the glass before I answer?" He asked, pulling her cup towards him. Her cup was plastic but it made her laugh as she moved it back towards her and started to eat her own food, now that she was done talking.

"I do think that it's safer," He said, keeping his information vague even though the chances of someone understanding them were slim. "But if that's not what you want to do, I'm not going to make you, and I am the only one who can so you're safe. It's just you and me."

She couldn't help herself from reaching over and giving him a big kiss from across the table. Having her lips on his made him feel like he was on fire and after a moment he had to nudge her back into her seat before he put his tongue in her mouth right then and there. She knew what she was doing and he knew it when her teeth caught his bottom lip just a little as she pulled away.

She was blushing and she knew it. All she wanted to do was go home and kiss him silly but at home, there were people and parents and it was impossible for them to get more than five minutes alone before someone came to make sure they were being good. After sneaking into his bed for a while and actually getting to lay there with him she couldn't help but think about being bad instead.

Everything about George was made for her, and that's why they couldn't, and why their parents kept so close an eye on them. Soulmate sex almost always resulted in pregnancy, no matter how careful or what kind of precautions were taken. Some believe that was why wizards were given soulmates- to ensure a strong, healthy, and magic-filled offspring. Alternatively, in every case of a witch or wizard having a child who was magicless, also known as a squib, it was found that only one of the parents had a soulmate who was not the other.

Her mother loved to tell her all about the teen pregnancies she witness in her school years that were rumored to be a result of the bond, and her father loved to remind her of how situations can escalate quickly between two mates, which is why she and George decided very early on to take things very very slow which were getting increasingly more difficult, especially if he was going to take her out to breakfast and look at her like he wanted her instead.
