"WAIT BUT THEY DO CARE BYLETH! YOU ARE THE ONLY REASON AS TO WHY THEY CARE ABOUT BEING CLEAN! OTHERWISE YOU WOULD JUST YELL AT THEM ALL THE TIME!" Byleth yelled at himself. He looked down at himself as anger continued to build up. "THIS ENTIRE TEAM WOULDN'T SURVIVE A WHOLE DAY WITHOUT YOU TELLING THEM TO TIDY UP!

YOU'RE FAR MORE IMPORTANT THAN MARIO EVER WAS! WHY ARE YOU THINKING YOU'RE WORSE!? MARIO IS OUT DOING HIS OWN EXPEDITION AND THE TEAM IS GOING TO GO HAYWIRE IN A FEW DAYS! YOU ARE THE KING OF TIDY! THEY NEED YOU!" He looked at himself in the mirror and saw the cracks in it.

Byleth stood there frozen, the cracks in the mirror. He knew that in some places broken mirrors brought bad luck to the person. However... he just saw how disgusted he looked, he looked nothing like himself anymore. In fact, he could no longer distinguish between him and a monster.

"What... What is wrong with me?! Why do I look like that?! Why do I look like I'm ready to kill someone so close to me!?" Byleth asked himself in fear. He looked down at himself and only thought of himself as a monster. Frightened at who he had just become. He was just too afraid to think twice of himself. "No... this cannot be happening. You're a great person Byleth! You are no monster!

That's just part of your imagination! Everyone needs you so they are tidy! They need you in case something happens to Mario! Sure he's going to come back from the mountains but... what if he doesn't!? What if someone finds out!? What if someone finds I'm not as clean as I am and finds out I'm covered in dust and dirt! SOMEONE SAW YOU WITH STAINS BYLETH!"

Byleth couldn't help but feel himself losing control of himself the more he thought about him being dirty. The thought of being dirty disgusted him. He couldn't stand being dirty. He hated that feeling all so much. He didn't care if nobody cared, he cared enough that he had to be as clean as possible. Byleth put his hands on his face and started to chuckle. That chuckle transformed into a giggle soon into hysterical laughter.

"AHAHAHAH! YOU'RE NOT GOING CRAZY BYLETH! YOU ARE PERFECTION! YOU ARE THE DEFINITION OF PERFECTION! YOU ARE AMAZING DON'T EVER LET THOSE FEELINGS GET TO YOUR BRAIN!" He yelled at himself in the mirror when suddenly it distorted into a strange figure he was unfamiliar with.

The mirror figure laughed, "Of course you are... perfection is what we need to survive. After all these heroes don't stand a chance in our perfection."

"Who... are you?"

"Well... I'm just this... strange creature you don't need to know of yet. Let me tell you something... but promise not to tell anyone of it. We don't want to worry the team about this... thing they're going to be afraid of," The mirror reflection giggled. Byleth stood there staring at the mirror. He nodded slowly as the mirror took a deep breath.

Byleth whispered, "You can tell me anything. I want to be the most perfect person in the world. I have to know the secret way to become perfect."

"Well, there's something you can get a hold of that will grant you true perfection," The mirror reflection giggled slightly. Byleth looked at it and was mesmerized. He couldn't take his eyes off the mirror at all. It was like... he was glued to the mirror. The presence was doing... something to him he had no idea what it was.

Byleth asked, "The... key to granting me true perfection!? Are you certain that's something that exists?!" The mirror nodded as Byleth felt himself losing control of his body. It was a strange feeling inside him, he could barely feel what was going on. "True... perfection..."

"Yes... true perfection... that's what you want is it not?" The mirror reflection questioned. Byleth nodded as he walked back. Suddenly the mirror reflection showed him something that felt familiar at the same time not.

Byleth asked, "Wait... what is that?"

The mirror reflection explained, "The scroll and book of the scriptor. These two together will grant you the perfection you desire. Trust me, it granted me the perfection I desired. I became the person I always wanted to be. You can be just like me if you can get your hands on these two..."

"What must I do to gain these two?! TELL ME! I HAVE TO GET MY HANDS ON THEM OR I'LL NEVER BE ABLE TO SHOW MY WORTHINESS TO THE TEAM!" Byleth yelled at the mirror as swirls filled his eyes. He was so tied into this... all he wanted was perfection.

The mirror explained, "The scroll is located in the Abbirecea mountains. This is hidden in the cave where the goddess Lopel was said to die. She brought a scroll with her that was the journey. It also described how true perfection truly felt. How to gain it especially.

The book is located in the cathedral Mark. Which is located very northwest near the Icarus Mountains. Those winds are strong and the snow is powerful. It'll take some time to get the book but I'm certain you'll do just fine by getting it. You're amazing at this Byleth. You can get your hands on them both."

Byleth whispered, "Oh my goodness... I never knew... how much I needed these... thank you... so much..." All of a sudden he heard a scream. The swirls disappeared from his eyes as the reflection did as well. He opened his door, hiding the sword and went downstairs.

"MARIO!!! SOM-SOMETHING HAPPENED TO HIM!!" Marianne screamed.
