"I must learn more about this... tell me all you have about the Crown of Zerus. I need to get as much power as possible! BEFORE ANYONE ELSE GETS TO THAT POWER! THAT POWER IS FOR ME! ME!!! I AM PERFECTION!" Byleth put his hands on the mirror in rage and then fell back slightly.
The mirror replied, "I know you're perfection Byleth. Just sit back and relax. I will tell you all the details to become what everyone will forever know you as. You will be able to rule the world..."
"Yes... Yes... I love that idea of ruling the world..." Byleth said while he smiled. Then soon his eyes were filled with swirls again. More and more he was being filled with despair. But he didn't care one bit, that was who he was supposed to be.
The mirror explained, "Well, for starters this crown will finally give you the true power you have been wanting for for the longest time possible. This crown is very hard to find but it will grant you your desires."
"It's a beautiful thing! This is a must have! What must I do in order to take this crown under my reign?!" Byleth replied as he smiled at the mirror. The mirror was walking around in the mirror and smiled at Byleth. "Go on! Speak!"
The mirror laughed, "Are you truly capable of taking this all in? It will be a lot just to even find the crown. More information will be needed in order to even use the crown if you're lucky enough to find it..."
"I need it, I just need that CROWN! That crown is everything I need! TELL ME NOW!!" Byleth ordered. The mirror smirked at him and then took a deep breath.
The mirror sighed, "Well, the crown is found in the lost abyss of the netherworld. You're not familiar with the netherworld are you?"
"This... This is the first time I ever heard of the place..."
"Well you're in for a treat! This world is found underneath the reign of Fodlan. Which is where you are from. The netherworld is very hard to find; however, the easiest place to find it is around the border of Fodlan and Ylisse. On that edge, go find the two boulders and underneath is a black glowing light.
Then it will be there, the gate to the netherworld. You will have to travel through the air to get to the castle siege. From there you will find the crown hidden behind a glass panel. However, that is very easy to break. Then... that crown will be yours!" The mirror explained.
Byleth whispered, "Understood... I will do all I can in order to get that crown. Now, will you explain how to use it?"
The mirror explained, "You need to use all your strength to take control of it, it requires someone of strong will to even harness the power itself. You just need to fight back and you will gain that power. After you gain the strength you will be able to use the ability of dark spells. Those dark spells are powerful and will destroy all your enemies.
Of course, these spells are powerful but they're crazy powerful, in fact these spells can go as far as destroying some demigods. However, it cannot withstand a time user or time itself, do be weary. But you will do just fine with the crown... after all your enemy is a mere mortal..." Byleth looked down at the mirror and smiled at himself.
Byleth laughed, "Oh... this is just perfect! This is the most wonderful thing in the world! I will do all I can in order to get my hands on that crown! The scroll, the book, and the crown all together! I WILL BE UNSTOPPABLE!!"
"Hahaha, you have so much will inside your body. You will be able to get your hands on all three of those items! I know you will!" The mirror replied as he smiled at Byleth. Byleth looked at himself and felt the negative energy flowing through his body again.
Byleth laughed, "AHAHAA I HAVE SO MUCH POWER DWELLING INSIDE MY BODY!! I WILL BE UNSTOPPABLE!!!"
"You will be unstoppable, you just need to have those three items and everything will be yours..." The mirror muttered. Byleth looked at the mirror as his body continued to flow with negative energy.
Byleth sighed, "This negative energy... it's flowing through my body! I feel incredible! I feel unstoppable even! This is amazing! WHOO!!!" Byleth then felt the energy inside him getting stronger and stronger by each moving minute.
"That's the spirit! Keep that head up high and eventually the entire world will bow down to you!"
Byleth laughed, "That's right.... They will bow down to me! ME!!! AHAHAHA!!! HAHAHA!!" Byleth then heard a sound in the distance. He turned around and searched the area. There was nothing there. Byleth slowly took out his sword and looked around. However, the sword was no longer bearing a red glow, it had a purple glow. The sign of negative energy...
Byleth searched the area as he noticed the mirror was gone. He continued to keep a watchful eye on the surrounding area. He was worried that something was going to happen. Perhaps it was Alcryst and Ivy back again. He kept his guard up. Soon he saw something walking over in the distance. He recognized the silhouettes, those were his friends.
Byleth grunted, "I have to get out of here now! UGH!" Byleth soon dashed away from the scene as the heroes continued walking. However, in the process... Byleth dropped his communicator to the ground, making sure they would never find him.
