Soaring Through The Never Ending Clouds ~ Chapter 138

"Hm..." Celica muttered. The heroes looked around the air and noticed it was a lot cooler. The days were getting longer and longer but yet the mountains always stayed cold throughout the year. Unfortunately the heroes were unable to find any leads.

Kirby muttered, "Where's Claude?!"

"He's probably still taking care of the wyvern, we shouldn't panic that much over him..." Shez sighed. The heroes looked at him in worry but they all knew that they couldn't panic forever and ever. They just had to deal with it. They soared through the air but they were still unsuccessful at finding what they wanted to find.

Veyle sighed, "The serpents messed up our entire pathing, we're never going to be able to find the castle now..."

"We just need to stay on track, where we last spotted the castle is where the castle might be..." Shez replied. The heroes soared on over to where they last located the castle and searched around the area. "The voice we heard when the serpents were attacking, it felt so familiar but yet...

Celica sighed, "Yeah the voice definitely felt familiar as well. But Claude was the only one who appeared to have recognized it... could it be..."

"It can't be Chrom, but if Claude was able to recognize the voice almost immediately, there's no doubt it has to be him..." Alcryst explained. The heroes looked at each other in worry, what the hell was Zethus doing now?

"Using the heroes for his own deeds? What type of psychopath is Zethus anyways?! He feels like he doesn't understand what the hell he's doing!" Kirby shouted in anger. The heroes looked at Kirby and all of them took a deep breath. "I just want our friends back, is that too much to ask for?"

Veyle sighed, "It probably is given that Zethus is nothing more but an insane madman who doesn't know when to give up..." The heroes nodded as they noticed something appeared on Shez's and Alcryst's communicators.

Shez said with a smile, "We located the castle with the communicators! Now it will be a breeze to find them without any issues!"

"Make sure to send this to Claude because he would need to know where we're located once he gets his wyvern taken care of," Alcryst suggested. Shez nodded and sent a text to Claude with the information. "I just pray that the wyvern is safe and sound."

Shez sighed, "Don't worry, I'm certain that the Wyvern will be just fine if it's in Claude's hands." Alcryst looked down at himself for a moment but then slowly nodded. They continued flying around the area trying to locate where the barrier could be.

"Should we try diving down to see if we can bump into the barrier?" Veyle questioned. The heroes looked at her and then back toward Shez. Shez looked at the heroes and smiled. He nodded firmly as the heroes got ready to dive into the barrier.

Shez said, "We will be able to find the barrier easier this way if we try bumping into it. Just be careful, we don't know where it is..." The heroes nodded as they ordered the wyverns to dive down. They dived down into something, and that's when they knew they found the barrier. "We found it."

Celica asked, "Are you ready Veyle?"

"Of course!" The two smiled at one another before casting a spell together on the barrier. The heroes watched as the two gave it their all to attack the barrier. Eventually it finally broke and the heroes all cheered for joy.

"We did it! Now-"

"I'M BACK!" Someone shouted. The heroes looked over and found Claude smiling at them while riding the wyvern. "My buddy here is all healthy now, I just gave him some stuff to treat him with and we're good as new!"

Celica laughed, "That's wonderful to hear Claude!" Claude smiled at them as they all looked down toward the castle. Shez glared down and took a deep breath.

"We need to stop Zethus before he does anything else, who knows what this man is truly trying to plan in the end..." Shez explained. The heroes nodded as they slowly lowered themselves down onto the castle.

Veyle sighed, "I can see why Zethus doesn't want us locating where he is. He wants his plan to succeed after Chrom defeated him in the war..."

"He's so pressed over a simple friendship blast, how dense can he be?" Celica muttered. The heroes giggled as they all managed to land safely onto the castle's front doors. Claude made sure all the wyverns were doing okay. The heroes got ready to get inside the castle to stop Zethus and make sure he is wiped out for good.

Alcryst muttered, "Are we all set?"

"Of course, we're more than ready to get to him and take him down once and for all," Shez replied. The heroes nodded firmly as they kicked down the door together. They dashed inside and saw Rafal standing there at the top of the staircase.

Rafal muttered, "Took you about time to get here, Zethus will be more than glad to see you..."

"More than glad to see us!?" Shez asked. Rafal didn't say anything, and soon they heard the footsteps of Zethus Byleth...
