Shez muttered, "Where are the others?!" The heroes looked over and looked at one another in worry. Shez looked at his communicator and saw that they were in the area, but yet they were so slow? "They should've been here by now..."

"I get what you mean, but we need to stay patient, the heroes might be traveling on foot..." Celica suggested.

Shez replied, "They shouldn't be taking this long either! There's not enough snow to slow them down to the core!" Celica looked down at herself as they heard some rumbling outside. The heroes took out their weapons and searched the area in confusion.

Ivy asked, "Is... Is he here?"

"That.. we're unsure of," Alcryst muttered. Soon they heard glass breaking. It was none other than Byleth and the rest of his crew. They jumped in and smiled directly toward Ivy. She stood there staring in disbelief.

Byleth laughed, "WE HAVE FINALLY MADE IT TO ELUSIA CASTLE!"

"WHERE THE HELL ARE THE REMAINING HEROES?!" Shez ordered. Byleth turned toward him and gave him a smile. Shez began to shake as the other heroes got ready to attack him.

Alear asked, "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO THEM?!"

Byleth announced, "I JUST MANAGED TO FIND A WAY TO GET RID OF THEM FOR A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME! AHAHAHA!" The heroes looked at one another in disbelief. Byleth scanned the entire castle and then turned toward Ivy. "Queen of Elusia... I won't do you harm... just hand me the castle grounds and I'll leave you be..."

Ivy replied, "Never, I will never let you have the castle grounds." Byleth stared at her and smiled. Ivy started to get nervous and soon Celica jumped in front of her, prepared to cast a spell.

Byleth sighed, "I won't do anything to you losers unless you don't give me the castle to open the gateway to the Netherworld. Otherwise we'll be dealing with some serious problems here..."

"WE WILL NEVER GIVE YOU THE CASTLE!" Ivy yelled. Byleth turned to her and Ivy backed away against the wall. This time Celica casted a spell but... it did absolutely nothing against Byleth. He had the book of the scriptor in his hand.

Byleth laughed, "Nice try Princess Celica. I remember when you first arrested me... you were correct about me being the killer of Mario. Yet none of you did anything to stop me... how sad must that be to know that a friend killed Mario?"

"Why did you do it!? Why did you kill Mario!?" Alear asked in anger and disbelief. She had her sword pointed toward Byleth, Byleth just smiled at the heroes.

"He was nothing more but a nuisance in my plan. He had to be one of the worst team leaders we could've ever gotten..." Byleth giggled.

Shez yelled, "MARIO DIDN'T EVEN DO ANYTHING WRONG AND YET HERE YOU ARE BASHING HIM DOWN?!"

"THAT'S THE THING! HE MAY HAVE NOT DONE ANYTHING WRONG BUT HE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING AT ALL!!" Byleth shouted. The heroes gathered together as Byleth glared at them. "He didn't CARE about the situation transpiring between me and Rowan. HE DIDN'T CARE THAT I WAS THINKING OF MYSELF AS USELESS! HE. DIDN'T. CARE!"

Veyle said, "I may not have known Mario enough but he was the team leader! He was most likely busy with so many different things!"

"HE WASN'T BUSY WITH SHIT ALL HE DID WAS LAZED AROUND AND DO NOTHING! HAVE PAID ATTENTION TO HOW HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT US!?" Byleth screamed. The heroes realized how enraged he was becoming. The purple aura surrounding him was becoming stronger and worse by the moment.

Alear muttered, "Byleth... we don't understand why you want to do this... why do you want to hurt Mario so badly!?"

"Mario didn't deserve life... he didn't deserve life after everything he has done for the team. Who stopped the heart? I did. Who ended the war? Chrom did... when was he ever useful in his entire life?!" Byleth asked as he pointed his sword at the heroes. The heroes didn't know what to say. "EXACTLY."

Alcryst muttered, "We can resolve this issue if you just listen to us Byleth! Please! I don't want to see us fighting all the time!" Byleth turned around and stared down at himself. Soon he started giggling, the giggling got louder and louder. The villains looked at him and soon he turned toward the heroes with a crazed smile on his face.

Hortensia gasped, "W-What... What is wrong with him!?"

"AHAHAHAHAHA! HAVEN'T YOU THOUGHT TWICE ABOUT WHAT YOU SAY ABOUT EVERYTHING GOING AROUND?!?! HAVE?! HAVE YOU REALLY THOUGHT TWICE ABOUT WHAT MARIO HAS DONE RIGHT?!?!?!?" Byleth laughed as he stared at the heroes with swirls within his eyes. The heroes had their guard up a lot more.

Alear asked, "You seem to be more insane than ever before. What has gotten into you?! Is that crown that necessary?!"

"I WILL DO ALL I CAN TO GET MY HANDS ON THAT CROWN!!! YOU ALL JUST DON'T WANT ME TOO BECAUSE YOU WANT THE CROWN FOR YOURSELVES!! YOU'RE ALL SELFISH!!" Byleth screamed. He looked more than prepared to kill the heroes. He was growing sick and tired of them, he wanted them dead. Thrown away...

Celica yelled, "We don't want the crown! We just want to protect it from you! That's all we ever wanted to do!"

"PROTECT IT?! THAT SOUNDS LIKE AN EXCUSE!!" Byleth yelled. Then he slammed his sword to the ground. There was a mark left on the ground as the heroes got ready to attack at any second. Byleth was out of control.

Veyle asked, "Why... why is he acting this way?!"

"He's so induced with despair it's impossible to get through to him..." Shez muttered. Byleth smiled at the heroes with a wide smile and then whipped his sword around.

Alear asked, "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT FROM US THIS TIME AROUND!?" Byleth looked toward her and smiled again. He just continued spinning his sword around. Then he turned toward Rafal.

Byleth asked, "I ask you only one question, Rafal..." The heroes looked over toward Rafal as he slowly looked over. Shez had the urge to interrupt them but he was already afraid of Byleth in this state.

"What's that?"

"Shall we get rid of these annoyances once and for all?!" Byleth asked. Rafal looked at the heroes and then back at Byleth. He nodded as the two got themselves prepared. Then the heroes put their defenses up, ready to fight them no matter what would end up happening. Afraid to ever let go...
